Despite being saved by judges two weeks ago, and missing the bottom three last week, tonight’s American Idol wasn’t a funny valentine for Matt Giraud, who received the least number of votes and his heading home.
In a complete shock, Adam Lambert joined the bottom three for the first time, alongside Kris Allen. Paul Adbul said the inclusion of Lambert in the bottom three “is crazy,” and Kara DioGuardi said “My mouth went open again…That’s what happens with Adam.”
Allison Iraheta, who was in the bottom three last week, and Danny Gokey survived the evening.
Next weeks Top 4 show theme is “rock-n-roll night.”

Be specific! Adam Lambert and Matt Giraud were in the bottom TWO. Kris was in the bottom three but beat out Lambert. If I'm correct Kris Allen got more votes than Adam Lambert.

He is indeed the next Idol to watch for. He is a complete package – an actor, a very good singer, a face that will launch a thousand “planes” (not ships lol)…

Adam is the ONLY reason I am still watching the show. He truly is and deserves the title of American Idol. Wake up and vote America! Don't slack off now. Adam needs us.

If Adam doesn't win I will be convinced that the show is rigged he is clearly the best of all the top 12 and should win hands down. His performance of “Mad World” was amazing and he has consistently been the best each week.

Wow…I was totally shocked that Adam Lambert ended up in the bottom 3 last night; no disrespect to the other contestants, but Adam Lambert has been a strong leader in this competition, and I don't think his last performance was enough justification to place him 4th. Danny Gokey is a good singer, as they all are, but to be honest, I don't remember any of their performances other than Adam's…SO, I am shocked and hopefully, this will be the last time American will vote and keep him in the leader position.

Matt was wise to be on long enough to get the attention of music labels so he could strike a deal himself. Smart man, I say. Otherwise he'd have to do it the old fashioned way and work for fame (like many bands and artists, including The Band IceBloc and such).

Rise America,!!! You know who should win! Admiring him, praising him, loving his song, listening to his song all over & over, sobbing upon learning he was in bottom three won't make him win. You gotta get up & VOTE VOTE VOTE. it doesn't matter if he performs excellently or not (well, he always performs excellently)…you gotta VOTE . Thats the only thing that will make him win.
Don't be like those judges who always fave him but can't do anything when he landed to bottom three, and why are they seem happy. Forget about “I want Adam/Kris , or Adam/danny or Adam/Alison in the finals”. Just ADAM IN THE FINALS. This is the reason why he almost got voted offf-because of splitting the votes. Remember those haters are trying hard to put more votes to other contestants because they hated Adam for being sooo good!
Adam Fans, go , you can do it, you can get him to WIN. We cannot vote here in Canada, so please vote for us.

Yo particularmente opino que eso es una estrategia de la gente de american idol, para buscar mas votos…el talento ..ADAM LAMBERT, es indiscutible, aparte de su carisma…..lastima que por nuestra ubicacion no podemos votas,sin embargo tienes nuestro apoyo. En estas competencias siempre sale aflote los verdaderos talentos…y este muchacho de apenas 27 años…lo es…..si no llegase a ganar la competencia….de todas maneras es inevitable borrar el camino recorrido por el…..tanto en su etapa de formacion como ahora que es todo…un personaje publico….lo que le faltaba..que era la notoriedad..ya la tiene..lo demas sera Historia….
