Jennifer Garner Disgusted After Learning Of Ben Affleck’s Affair With Nanny During ‘Make Or Break’ Vacation

Jennifer Garner was set to give Ben Affleck a second chance, but then she allegedly learned about his affair with the family’s nanny.

The sequence of events went down just a few weeks ago, a source close to the couple told People, shattering their already-shaky marriage and ensuring that they would be headed for divorce.

Jennifer was with Ben in the Bahamas when she reportedly learned of Affleck’s affair with the nanny, Christine Ousounian. The couple had intended the trip to be a decision point, where they would try to re-build their troubled marriage and move forward.

Instead, it all fell apart.

“It was game time,” the source told People. “Ben had already told her he hadn’t been committed to the marriage. They were trying to figure out what to do.”

Jennifer Garner was furious at finding out about Ben’s alleged affair, the source added.

“There was always a speck of doubt in Jen’s mind about separating but that’s now gone,” says a friend. “She is very angry. To Jen, this is the ultimate betrayal.”

It is unclear just how long the affair went on between Affleck and the nanny, but sources said Ouzounian told friends she and Affleck would meet at the Hotel Bel-Air.

Affleck has strongly denied an affair with the nanny, calling reports of their relationship “garbage” and even threatening legal action against Us Weekly for first reporting it.

“This is a false and baseless story based on innocuous photos, and we’re looking at pursuing legal action,” the rep told the Los Angeles Times.

“You shouldn’t be able to hide behind ‘blind sources’ and attempt to destroy families going through a difficult time,” Affleck’s rep added. “It’s like story time in kindergarten.”

Other sources close to the couple claim that the couple’s split had nothing to do with an affair.

“Saying he’s a bad father and a husband is an easy story, and everyone has wanted to clock him as a womanizer and gambler,” an unnamed source told People magazine. “He couldn’t deal with her expectations. When you’re told you’re not good enough, you start to believe it.”

While the split has rocked the couple, Jennifer Garner has reportedly done all she can to maintain a sense of normalcy, especially for the couple’s children. She has also been hard at work, and was spotted smiling on the set of her upcoming movie, Miracles From Heaven.

“This is not anything she wanted as an outcome for her family or her marriage,” says a friend of the actress. “But everyone is rallying around her.”

For her part, Jennifer Garner has not spoken publicly on Affleck’s alleged affair with the family nanny.
