Lottie Tomlinson Raps N-Word In New NSFW Video – Gets 132,000 Tweets As 1D Brother Louis Dips Out [Video]

On August 4, the One Direction news centered around the fact that 1D played GMA, and Louis Tomlinson confirmed the fact that he has a baby on the way, as reported by the Inquisitr. That same day was the birthday of Lottie Tomlinson, Louis’ sister. According to Billboard, fans sang “Happy Birthday” to Lottie on GMA and the band members called it a cute move.

However, by Tuesday, August 5, Twitter was abuzz about a new video of Lottie that leaked online, showing her singing along to song lyrics that contained the N-word. As such, Twitter reported that the name “Lottie” was a trending topic.

Be warned, the following video contains language that may be offensive to some.

The video of Lottie rhyming along to a song that contains the N-word is causing tweets found under the search term “Lottie N-word” to come flowing into Twitter with a variety of opinions attached to the event.

Plenty of Twitter fans are defending Lottie, reasoning that Tomlinson was simply singing along with a song that already contained the N-word. Lottie let the N-word blurt out instead of censoring herself — perhaps because it was too late to do so. Either way, 1D fans note in hilarious ways that Louis was able to dip out of the video when the controversial N-word statement happened, and they are creating memes to that effect.

Viewers also note that Louis warns his sister that she’s on camera saying the N-word, a fact the One Direction star is obviously trying to avoid.

According to Twitter the name Lottie has garnered 132,000 tweets about the trend ever since the Snapchat video went viral.

Apparently, it isn’t the first time Lottie has courted controversy from singing the N-word along with a song. Nor is Lottie the first celebrity to get in trouble for singing or saying the word. Although Kanye West has been known to grant white people permission to sing the N-word along with his songs during his concerts, Gwyneth Paltrow created controversy simply for tweeting the name of the song “N****s in Paris” that Kanye performed with Jay Z.

Lottie defenders argue that Tomlinson wasn’t tossing out the N-word in an offensive manner. Those who are coming against Lottie for rhyming the N-word along with the song are charging that she should’ve skipped over the word or said something else in its place.
