WWE News: WWE Employees Being Told To Not Acknowledge Chyna
It’s been well over a decade since former WWE Intercontinental Champion Chyna has been on good terms with WWE, and it seems that WWE just isn’t interested in making amends with Chyna, no matter how hard she tries.
Chyna didn’t leave WWE on the best of terms, and she’s done nothing but bash high-level executives within the company — mainly Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Vince McMahon — since she parted ways with WWE in 2001. Combine that with the fact that she had a pretty ugly breakup with Triple H, who is now second-in-command behind Vince McMahon, and it becomes clear that it’ll be extremely difficult for the “Ninth Wonder of the World” to get back on WWE’s good side.
This past February, on the Steve Austin Podcast with Triple H as the guest, Austin asked “The Game” if Chyna would ever be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, which pretty much made Chyna relevant again in WWE. Triple H pretty much said that Chyna virtually has no chance of being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame because of the career choices she’s made since leaving WWE.
Chyna is in the process of making a documentary about her life and wrestling career, and a few months ago she stopped by the WWE offices and tried to get a meeting with Vince McMahon and Triple H to see if WWE would be interested in partnering up with her for the project, but, both Vince and Triple H refused to meet with her.
It appears that, not only are Triple H and Vince McMahon unwilling to speak with Chyna, but WWE employees are now being told to pretty much ignore the former Intercontinental Champion.
On Tuesday, Chyna posted a video to her YouTube channel of her manager Anthony Anzaldo trying to contact WWE about any royalties that she may be owed, and the receptionist at WWE headquarters who took the call told Anzaldo that she had been instructed to relay any calls about Chyna. WWE has made up with almost everyone that they’ve been on bad terms with, and it seems that Chyna is one of the few people that WWE, at least for now, isn’t interested in making up with. Chyna’s situation with WWE is very unique given the fact that she is Triple H’s ex, and he may be hesitant to welcome her back to the organization for personal reasons.
Some people have criticized Triple H for being so against bringing Chyna back to WWE because of her short-lived adult film career, because X-Pac, who is one of Triple H’s best friends, appeared in one of the adult films with Chyna, and he’s now back in WWE on a legends contract.
You should never say never in the wrestling business, but it seems that Chyna’s chances of getting back in the good graces of WWE are slim to none at the moment.
