‘Batman V Superman’–New Image Shows Ben Affleck As Bruce Wayne

A new Batman v Superman image has surfaced, and it shows a desolate scene as Ben Affleck in his Bruce Wayne persona stares into the horizon.

According to Batman News, Zack Snyder shared this photo on his private Instagram account, Cruel Films, the name of his production company. Usually, set photographer Clay Enos, who has taken all the promotional images we have seen recently (the ones published by Empire magazine) re-shares on his Instagram — which is public — and that’s how we get the latest scoops. Thanks, Clay.

However, so far, no re-share from Enos, which is odd, because Clay shared the latest Batman image to be released by Snyder as well as the one of the director’s son, after all the talk about Robin. Thanks to another of Snyder’s followers, we now have a look at this scene in which Bruce Wayne comes back to a run-down Wayne Manor.

We know that Batman is older than what we’re used to seeing in other versions and has been retired from catching the bad guys for a few years, until Superman (Henry Cavill) makes him resurface. Snyder said in a recent interview that the Dark Knight is “45- or 46-years-old” and in this Batman v Superman new image it shows.

We do not know why Wayne Manor is in a state of ruin, however, as Bruce seems to still be the wealthy business man in Snyder’s version. Batman is not a happy man and not only because of the Man of Steel’s actions, which brought death and destruction when he destroyed General Zod (Michael Shannon).

Batman is after Superman, hence the blockbuster’s title, Batman v Superman and it is obvious that the two superheroes have some issues with one another. In a scene in the second trailer, Perry White (Laurence Fishburne) yells at Clark Kent saying that “nobody cares about Clark Kent taking on the Batman.”

The new Batman v Superman image goes hand in hand with the belief that a great tragedy has made Bruce Wayne hang up his cape and cowl and perhaps caused him to abandon Wayne Manor. Whatever the case, both Batman and Superman are conflicted characters, but they will surely find a way to work together to destroy the villains.

Most experts believe this is actually a legit new Batman v Superman image.
