Kate Middleton Inspires New Trend In Post-Baby Beauty, Mentor Of Beauty And Fashion

Kate Middleton is always the picture of beauty, especially when it comes to her flowing brunette locks, which never seem to be even the slightest out of place. Flash back to mere hours after the Duchess delivered little Charlotte, shortly after stepping out to make an appearance, and one could only describe Middleton’s tresses as perfection. How is it that this royal mother of two manages, even after hours of delivery, to look so spot-on gorgeous? Well, of course, she enlists a little help.

Kate was sure to spruce up her exterior for her appearance in front of the masses by calling in her hair stylist for a wash and style. As E! Online reminds, Middleton’s stylist, Amanda Cook Tucker, and her colorist, Richard Ward, found their way to St. Mary’s Hospital in London with all the necessary tools to ensure that Kate emerged with flawless and effortless flowing curls.

The publication notes that the “latest post-delivery trend involves the new mother’s hairstylist swooping in for an after-labor hair blowout or touch-up, and more moms than ever are getting into the glam-after-baby routine.”

Since Charlotte’s introduction to the world, the New York Times reports that the trend for post-delivery, bedside blowouts is catching on internationally. After discussing the rising demand for stylists to appear bedside for beautifying assistance in the natal ward of hospitals, the New York Times gained insight from Joel Warren, owner of Warren-Tricomi Salons.

“I think someone realized, ‘Why should I not look good for that great picture that I’m going to show everybody, the first picture of my child?'”

Due to the instantaneous ability to share the most precious moments in personal lives with the rest of the world via social media, many women see the Middleton procedure and practice for getting back to her stunning self as being beneficial and pertinent. Lisa Schavrien, the obstetric nurse navigator at Lenox Hill Hospital, who keeps a list of stylists’ numbers on hand for new moms, attempted to put the trend in perspective when chatting with the Times.

“We have a lot of patients who have had a long labor, and they are like, ‘O.K., I want cool pictures of me and my baby.’ “

The trend is growing so rapidly that stylists report a 200 percent increase in bookings by post-delivery clientele. And why not? Every mother deserves a little bit of pampering and to look divine after such hard work — to be able to smile confidently while sharing the good news with family, friends, and followers. Kate Middleton has got it right, and now all women can be treated like royalty on delivery day.
