Nick Gordon Funeral Barred, Faces Lawsuit For Bobbi Kristina Abuse & Theft With Casey Anthony’s Attorney [Video]

Nick Gordon was barred from the funeral of Bobbi Kristina Brown, the 22-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. Nick was living with Bobbi Kristina when she was found unconscious, face-down, in a bathtub on January 31. Since that crisis, Gordon had been kept away from her bedside during the weeks in which she was in a hospital, followed by a long-term care facility, and then a hospice, at which she died.

After pleading to see her in the hospital on social media, Nick had been the subject of an intervention on Dr. Phil’s talk show. Gordon subsequently went to rehab, then went to Florida, where his birth mother lives. It was Michele Gordon who revealed that he begged to attend the funeral, but was barred, reported People.

However, Nick honored Bobbi Kristina in his own way, said his mom. When Gordon could not attend the funeral, the 25-year-old and Michele mourned her memory at the beach, which Nick said she enjoyed.

“Nick went to beach with me on Friday during the services,” said Michele. “He said the beach was always their favorite place to go so he decided that he would honor her at a place that they both loved.”

Prior to Bobbi Kristina’s death, Gordon learned that her conservators, including Bobby Brown and Pat Houston, had filed a $40 million civil lawsuit against him. The allegations include abuse and putting money from her bank account into his own.

But despite that lawsuit, Gordon emailed Pat and Bobby to ask to go to the funeral.

“I loved Krissi with all my heart and I am destroyed that she is gone and I need to say goodbye. I’m begging you both to please put your differences aside and allow me this chance. Krissi loved me very much and she would want me there. Please consider this?”

And although Gordon was banned from the funeral and then mourned Bobbi Kristina’s loss, drama still awaits him in the battle over that lawsuit.

As the Inquisitr reported, Bobbi Kristina’s court-appointed conservator, Bedelia Hargrove, filed the claims that the domestic abuse experienced by the 22-year-old included dragging her by the hair, knocking out a tooth, and hitting her in the face.

“[Gordon] accessed Brown’s bank account(s) and stole in excess of $11,000,” charges the lawsuit.

Following up, the conservator expressed the implications of the lawsuit.

“No human being, male or female, should endure what Bobbi Kristina endured. Pat Houston and Bobby Brown have done all they can to take care of Bobbi Kristina since this terrible tragedy occurred. This lawsuit represents our collective efforts to get justice for Bobbi Kristina.”

To represent Gordon in that lawsuit, Nick’s legal team includes an Atlanta criminal defense attorney Joe Habachy, Casey Anthony’s lead defense attorney Jose Baez, and TJ Ward, who investigated Natalee Holloway’s disappearance, reported Entertainment Tonight.

Gordon will face claims of domestic violence and embezzlement. However, that lawsuit also reveals that Bobbi Kristina had planned to meet with someone to discuss her concerns about Nick on the same day that she was discovered unconscious with a missing tooth and facial swelling.
