Bobby Brown’s Wife Alicia Etheredge Suffers A Seizure Hours After Bobbi Kristina’s Funeral

As if there’s not enough heartbreak in Bobby Brown’s life already, his wife Alicia Etheredge had to be rushed to a hospital after attending the funeral service of Bobby’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina.

Alicia Etheredge reportedly had a seizure several hours after the funeral service for Bobbi Kristina Brown. The manager was earlier seen looking grim while supporting and comforting her clearly distraught husband at the funeral.

Reports say that Etheredge was already in her Atlanta hotel together with some family members when symptoms of the seizure started to manifest. Relatives immediately called for emergency services, and she was quickly taken to the nearest hospital by ambulance.

Luckily, the seizure appears to have been mild as Alicia Etheredge was seen going inside the hospital on her own, with just a little assistance being provided. But it’s unclear what caused the seizure in the first place.

This is the second time that Etheredge has suffered a seizure. The mother of two reportedly had a seizure back in 2012 in Florida when Bobby had a concert with New Edition. But like the recent incident, also made a speedy recovery after being rushed to a hospital.

It has undoubtedly been an emotionally trying month for the Browns.

Etheredge gave birth to her and Bobby’s second child, Bodhi Jameson Rein, several weeks ago. But the happy news of the birth was soon overshadowed by the tragic death of his only daughter with Whitney Houston.

Twenty-two-year-old Bobbi Kristina finally succumbed and passed away on July 26, 2016.

The couple immediately went to be with her and to pay their respects at her wake on July 31. A funeral service was held the following day at St. James United Methodist Church and Bobby, Alicia, and the rest of the Brown and Houston families came to pay their respects. Medea actor Tyler Perry and Wonderland’s Michael Jai White were some of the celebrities who came to pay their respects.

Unfortunately, the supposedly solemn moment turned into a lurid soap opera when Bobby’s sister, Leolah Brown, started shouting at Pat Houston while she gave her eulogy. Leolah was then escorted out by Perry, who calmed her down enough that she was allowed to return to the service.

The shouting match notwithstanding, the funeral continued and ended on a very personal and touching note, with messages of love from both of Bobbi Kristina’s parents.

Bobbi Kristina’s funeral ended with Whitney’s Jesus Loves Me being played while Bobby wrote a message to Bobbi Kristina in the funeral program. The message read “I also will always love you,” a clear reference to Whitney’s iconic song I Will Always Love You.
