‘Vanderpump Rules’ Cast Talks Jax Taylor Arrest
The Vanderpump Rules cast reunited this weekend for a fun event, and while out in Los Angeles, they spoke of a hot topic among their group. As fans have surely heard, Jax Taylor was arrested last month in Hawaii after he allegedly stole a pair of Polaris sunglasses from a store in Honolulu. On July 31, Perez Hilton spoke to the cast of Vanderpump Rules, wanting to know their thoughts on Taylor’s arrest.
During the interview, Lisa Vanderpump confirmed Taylor had “absolutely” been disciplined for his bad behavior.
“We’re dealing with it. I am happy to say I see some type of remorse [from Jax]. People make mistakes and he definitely made a big one.”
While Vanderump has chalked up Taylor’s Hawaiian arrest as a mistake, his boss at SUR Lounge, Peter Madrigal, claims the whole thing was a misunderstanding. He even went as far as to say Taylor was “innocent,” despite video surveillance seemingly proving otherwise.
Scheana Marie Shay, meanwhile, couldn’t do much other than laugh when she found out about her Vanderpump Rules co-star’s alleged crime.
“I laughed, because it was so stupid. Everyone was like, ‘you’re such an idiot!’ If it was anything else he got in trouble for, we would’ve all been pretty sympathetic, but because it was straight stupidity, we’re like, ‘C’mon man! What were you thinking?'”
Meanwhile, Vanderpump Rules stars Katie Maloney and Tom Sandoval were less sympathetic. According to Maloney, she was “pissed” about Taylor’s selfish behavior, and Sandoval was “disappointed and embarrassed.”
“Obviously, we’re grouped together — we’re the Vanderpump Rules cast,” Sandoval explained. “When we go places, people will group us together and now think ‘those guys steal things.’ So that pissed me off. At this point, we’re in our fourth season, he should’ve really just known better. You can’t do stupid things like that. People are watching.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, 36-year-old Taylor was arrested at the hotel where he and the Vanderpump Rules cast were staying after allegedly stealing the sunglasses. Although he wasn’t filming for Season 4 at the time, it was assumed that the cast’s trip to the beautiful island was filmed for the show. A short time after his arrest, a mug shot surfaced of the Vanderpump Rules star.

Vanderpump Rules Season 4 is expected to return to Bravo later this year.
