Bobby Brown’s Wife Rushed To The Hospital Hours After Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Funeral

On the same day Bobby Brown mourned his daughter’s death, the day grew more emotional for the singer when his wife had to be taken to the hospital. Mere hours after his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown’s funeral service, Bobby Brown’s wife, Alicia Etheredge, was rushed to an Atlanta area hospital, a source close to the Brown family told Entertainment Tonight. The source would not say why Brown’s wife was taken to the hospital.

TMZ, however, is reporting Bobby’s wife suffered a seizure at their hotel room in Georgia. TMZ’s source claims Bobby’s wife was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, but walked into the hospital with assistance. Brown and Etheredge were in the Atlanta area for Bobbi Kristina’s funeral. Bobby remained by his wife’s side.

Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, was also in the area, but was allegedly barred from attending her funeral.

This weekend has been stressful for Bobby Brown and his wife. The couple attended Bobbi Kristina’s wake on July 31. At Bobbi Kristina’s funeral the next day, Bobby Brown’s sister, Leolah Brown, was asked to leave the service when she began shouting at Bobbi Kristina’s other aunt, Pat Houston, when she was getting ready to speak. Longtime friend of the family Tyler Perry escorted Leolah out of the church where the funeral was held.

Via the Associated Press, Leolah Brown said, “I told her that Whitney is going to haunt her from her grave.”

Though Bobby didn’t speak at his daughter’s funeral, he did write a loving tribute to her in the funeral program. Brown wrote, “I also will always love you,” in direct reference to mother Whitney Houston’s hit single, “I Will Always Love You” from The Bodyguard soundtrack.

After the memorial ended, Bobby Brown was photographed leaving the funeral in tears.

Less than a month ago, Bobby Brown’s wife Alicia Etheredge gave birth to their second child, a baby girl named Bodhi Jameson Rein Brown, on July 9 in Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. The couple also has a son, 5-year-old Cassius. Brown and his wife hosted a co-ed baby shower at the end of May at their Southern California home.

With the turmoil between Bobby’s side of the family and Whitney Houston’s side, it’s uncertain whether the drama will wind down anytime soon. On a positive note, however, sources say Alicia is expected to make a full recovery after reportedly suffering from the seizure. Bobby Brown is expected to attend his daughter Bobbi Kristina’s burial in New Jersey tomorrow.
