Donald Trump Staffer Fired For Alleged Racist Facebook Posts

A Donald Trump staffer was fired after allegedly posting racially-charged Facebook posts, some going back as far as 2007.

According to the Washington Post, Donald Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, was clear about the seriousness of the termination.

“Effective immediately, Sam Nunberg, a low-level political adviser, is no longer associated with the Donald Trump For president campaign.”

Nunberg allegedly called President Barack Obama a “Socialist Marxist Islamo Fascist Nazi Appeaser” in one of his posts. He also uses the “n” word when discussing Al Sharpton’s daughter.

Nunberg claims not to remember anything about the posts. Business Insider reports that Nunberg said in an interview, “I’m shocked and I don’t recall them.”

Nunberg thinks that someone else could have made those posts. Donald Trump’s former staffer said it was possible that “anything that was posted under my name does not mean I posted it.” He was also quick to let everyone know he was not employed by Donald Trump at the time of the postings.

The Donald Trump campaign launched its own investigation to make sure the posts were authentic and determined they were. Potential voters were reassured the matter would be taken care of swiftly and justly.

“Sam Nunberg is just a short-term consultant with the campaign along with many others. If he did make these statements he will be terminated immediately,” a spokesperson for Donald Trump’s campaign said. “Mr. Trump would never condone such statements from anybody in his campaign… even if that person had a low-level campaign position.”

This is not the first time that Nunberg has been in the hot seat with Donald Trump. Trump fired Nunberg in his first run for president after Donald Trump became entangled in an unflattering Buzzfeed news profile himself on Nunberg’s advice.

The campaign manager said that there was no room for bad behavior on Donald Trump’s run for the presidency.

“We have no tolerance for that in a presidential campaign,” the spokesperson said.

Donald Trump’s spokesperson has been adamant that Nunberg is not a key figure in the Donald Trump campaign.

“He has been, as you know, part of some type of organization in the past, but has not been a senior person on the campaign…and if these statements are accurate, we are very clear that Mr. Trump would never condone such statements from anybody on the campaign.”

While the Donald Trump staffer may have been fired for alleged racist Facebook posts, will Donald Trump be back for more since he’s already used this same guy once before? Or has he crossed the line once and for all?
