Ronda Rousey: ‘Don’t Cry’ Is The Salt Rubbed Into The Wound Of Bethe Correia, Who Is Next To Take On The Streak?
What words of wisdom were left to Bethe Correia from Ronda Rousey?
“Don’t cry.”
Rousey explains why those two words were the first ones she wanted to make sure the Correia heard.
“I said the exact same thing she was saying to me at weigh-ins; she was screaming in my face at weigh-ins, she was saying, ‘Don’t cry.’ So, I turned around after I knocked her out and said, ‘Don’t cry.'”
Last night, Ronda Rousey extended her undefeated streak and successfully defended her women’s bantamweight championship by destroying Bethe Correia in 34 seconds. On Twitter, fans of Rousey reacted to the championship fight.

Not even kidding, it took me longer to kill a wasp, than it did for @rhondarousey to knockout Bethe. #UFC190 #andSTILL — JrMizz (@jrmizzgaming) August 2, 2015
Knee was nice, left was nice, right cross was nice, but saying “good try” while Bethe was napping was the real knockout blow. #RhondaRousey

That knockout was so good, the NFL just suspended #RhondaRousey for seven games. — Dominic Fabiscus (@DominicFabiscus) August 2, 2015
And a tweet from the champ herself.
Walking out with my family is the greatest feeling ever…. #UFC190#andSTILLpic.twitter.com/eDfjbstlwl

Who is the next opponent that will try to end Ronda Rousey’s undefeated streak? It is being reported that Meisha Tate is next. This would be the third meeting between Rousey and Tate. Unsurprisingly, Rousey is 2-0 against her. Ronda Rousey is not using her undefeated streak to sit on her laurels and take Tate lightly.
“I think Miesha is one of my greatest challenges because she already has an idea what she’s getting in there with. I’ve improved a lot since the last time we fought, but I don’t have that element of surprise that I know she’ll bring something different every time. I’m eager to see what she comes up with this time.”
What will happen during Rousey Vs. Tate, part three? Will Rousey make sure to tell Tate “don’t cry?” Will the third time be the charm for Tate?
