Powerball Winning Numbers August 1: Watch $110 Million Jackpot Drawing Live

Do you have the winning Powerball numbers for August 1? The jackpot is a whopping $110 million and if your ticket has all six numbers drawn on Saturday night, you will be the lottery’s newest multi-millionaire.

Tonight’s drawing takes place at 10:59 p.m. ET. Download the free LotteryHub app and watch the drawing live on your iPhone or Android device, or tune in to watch the Powerball drawing on one of these local TV channels.

The winning numbers for August 1 are: 7-13-24-49-57 PB 15

The last drawing on July 29 didn’t produce a jackpot winner (2-22-27-28-52 PB 35 Power Play 3), but there were more than 440,000 non-jackpot prize winners. One lucky ticket holder in Illinois won $1 million on Wednesday night, matching all five white balls on their ticket. While a $1 million win is amazing, they were just one number away (the Powerball) from winning the $100 million jackpot.

If you don’t win the jackpot, there are eight ways to win non-jackpot prizes that range from $4 to $1 million. Win $1 million if you match all five white balls, or $10,000 if you match four white balls and the red Powerball.

Smaller prizes include $100 (4 white balls), $7 (3 white balls or 2 white balls and the red Powerball), $4 (1 white ball and the red Powerball) and $4 (just the Powerball).

Powerball tickets cost $2 each, but if you’re feeling extra lucky, pay an extra $1 and your non-jackpot prize will multiply by the Powerplay number drawn that night. Sorry, you can’t multiply the jackpot prize — but imagine if you could?

What are the odds that you will win tonight’s $110 million Powerball jackpot? According to the Multi-State Lottery Association, odds are 1 in 175,223,510.00 that you will become a multi-millionaire on Saturday night.

If you think the current odds are slim, wait until October. According to USA Today the odds of winning the jackpot will increase to 1 in 285,981,696 starting October 7. There will be more numbers to pick from in the first set, with the lottery increasing the number of white balls from 59 to 69.

However, the amount of Powerball (red ball) numbers to pick from will decrease from 35 to 26, making the odds better for players to win a non-jackpot prize that includes the red ball, such as that big $4 you can win if you match just the Powerball.

If that’s not enough good news for you, the third-level non-jackpot prize (four white balls and the red Powerball) will increase from $10,000 to $50,000 in October.
