Evelyn Lozada Talks Laser, Plastic Surgery To Remove Headbutt Scar Tonight On ‘Livin’ Lozada’

It seems that Evelyn Lozada is doing everything right since we last saw her on Basketball Wives. In tonight’s episode of Livin’ Lozada, a docuseries that airs on OWN, viewers watch as Lozada heads to a plastic surgeon to discuss getting rid of a nasty scar on her forehead. Evelyn tells the doctor that she is changing her scar, so that she won’t be reminded of the terrible fight that she had with her ex-husband, Chad Johnson. During the visit to the plastic surgeon, he takes one look at the sultry Latina and tells her that doesn’t see anything wrong, stating emphatically that she looks perfect to him. She disagrees.

“I have a scar and I want this scar to go away.”

It is then that Lozada explains to him that her husband struck her with his head. The infamous headbutt story made headlines in 2012 after it was reported that Evelyn’s husband, Chad Johnson, headbutted her during an argument. The scar was so severe that she had to spend time in a hospital. The wound eventually healed but left the Basketball Wives star with a permanent scar. On the latest episode of Livin’ Lozada, a surgeon tells Evelyn that he is sure that he can fix it by using laser surgery. The laser, he says, will soften the scar, but will require several treatments for ultimate success.

It all sounds good to Evelyn who states that she just wants the scar to disappear so that she can begin creating new memories and a new life. Some viewers criticize that Evelyn Lozada shouldn’t be discussing an incident that happened a couple of years ago, stating that if she truly wanted to move forward — she wouldn’t even bother discussing the prior incident. Some allege that she wasn’t thinking about domestic violence when she was attacking other women, and that talking about the Chad Johnson-domestic violence case is only to increase ratings for the show.

Other fans say that Evelyn Lozada has every right to bring up something that devastated her in the past. They also believe that talking about it will help other young women to stay out of abusive relationships, including her daughter, Shaniece.

Domestic violence and domestic abuse is something that all mothers should discuss with their daughters. Statistics show that murder-suicide rates are soaring among couples as a result of domestic violence. Almost daily, news articles are filled with tragic stories involving fatal shootings, stabbings, and victims of strangulation. Sadly, most homicide victims are female.

Jackie Guerrido is another famous Latina who was said to be in a relationship plagued by domestic violence with her ex, Don Omar. Sources say the relationship became so volatile that it led Guerrido to take out a restraining order against the reggaeton rapper. Inquisitr reported previously that Jackie Guerrido denied the abuse allegations. Omar was later arrested in Puerto Rico after a girlfriend reported him for domestic violence.

Don’t miss tonight’s all new episode of Livin’ Lozado at 9/8c on Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).
