Kate Middleton’s Designer Unveils New Collection As Kate Attempts To Please Queen’s Tastes

Kate Middleton’s go-to designer Jenny Peckham has revealed her latest collection, which was inspired by A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The collection is fully bridal, however, Middleton has gained many of her showstopper garments from various lines Peckham has unveiled in the past. In addition, the 50-year-old London-based designer has also created bespoke pieces for Kate.

The Duchess’ oh-so-talented and favorite designer named dresses from her latest line after various Shakespeare characters, just to add even more whimsy and a more poetic element to the garments. The Daily Mail notes that “each dress is white and floating, with lace, flower embellishments or sheer layers – without a meringue among them.” Upon seeing each of the dresses from the new line, it is easy to understand why Kate trusts Peckham when aiming to maintain her style status.

In a recent interview, Peckham shared in regards to the extent she assists in keeping Middleton at her most fashionable. The Daily Mail relays the designer’s words.

“[It’s] always quite a collaboration. You kind of always know where [each garment is] going to be worn.”

Peckham also noted that Kate quite obviously has “a great sense of style and a British one.” That is certainly no surprise. The publication outlines and shares details of the regularity with which Kate chooses to wear pieces created for her by Ms. Peckham.

“Kate has worn a range of Packham’s designs, including a yellow dress with buttons in Canada in 2011, a green floor length evening gown at the Royal Albert Hall in 2012 and a 1930s-style pink beaded evening gown at a gala dinner at Kensington Palace in 2011. She also wore the designer throughout her pregnancies and made her first appearance with Prince George in a Jenny Packham blue polka dot dress.”

Since the birth of Princess Charlotte, there has appeared to be a definite change in regards to Middleton’s style choices, the Hollywood Take notes.

“Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s grandmother has made it known that she feels the Duchess of Cambridge doesn’t always dress appropriately for her royal stature.”

It is unclear as to what extent the Queen disapproves of Kate’s style, although the opposition to the Duchess’ wedged shoes certainly made headlines worldwide. All that aside, Kate gets a gold star for fashion sense from the rest of the world, and Jenny Peckham is on point in keeping the beauty at her best in her bespoke designs.
