Drake’s Lyrics Tablets — Proof He’s Been Writing His Own Raps Since ‘Degrassi’

Drake shows his lyrics tablets to the camera as he flips through book after book of rhymes. Since his Degrassi days, he’s owned his own raps — possibly, no ghostwriters.

As you know, it’s come into question whether Drizzy’s been the writer behind his well-developed lyrics. In a re-surfaced interview with Noggin, a sub-channel of Nickelodeon, Drake tours his home for the kids. However, he also showed the tablets in which he writes his lyrics. While it probably wasn’t so relevant back then, it’s definitely a undeniable, verifiable piece of evidence now.

In “Back to Back,” Drizzy mentioned that the things Meek Mill was saying was weighing on his conscience. While he knew he wrote his own raps and lyrics, the public wanted validation. And though the most recent diss track over-validated, this video serves as extra, visual account to Drake’s testimony.

Some feel as though all this beef has just been a publicity stunt by Meek, considering his beginning was as a battle rapper. A previous Inquisitr article discusses a tweet made by President Obama’s former advisor, Dan Pheiffer. He expressed that Mill’s baiting technique is “brilliant.”

While he calls it advanced marketing, the majority believes the Drake beef is more simple than that. They’re going off Meek’s own words. When the beef first started with Drake, Mill stated that it was because Drizzy didn’t retweet his album. Would Meek truly be so petty?

Regardless of why it started, Mill has caught the wrong type of attention. According to Philly.com, Meek was booed at his Toronto show earlier this week — or rather, Nicki Minaj’s show, as says Drake. After an onslaught of memes, everyone is awaiting a response to Drake’s disses. Including Drizzy’s feature on Daylyt’s Meek Mill diss, “Uncharged Up,” the score is Drake 3 – Meek Mill 0.

However, word on the Twitter street is that Mill’s response is supposed to drop tonight. So stay tuned.
