All five suspected cases of swine flu in New Jersey are said to be mild, according to published reports, and none of the victims has been hospitalized.

All but one of the people had spent time recently in Mexico. The person who hadn’t did travel to California, which could have provided exposure.

As for specific locations, the CDC is saying only that the patients are from “various counties throughout New Jersey.” If and when the swine flu cases are confirmed, further details may be released. Test results should be finalized within two days.
