Heather Thomson Talks Carole’s London Trip: ‘She Doesn’t Often Open Up’

Heather Thomson has become great friends with Carole Radziwill over the years, and they have been filming The Real Housewives of New York together. Carole decided to go to London with Dorinda Medley to pick up her husband’s ashes since Dorinda is also a widow. Thomson could have gone on the trip to support her friend, but now Heather is watching the episode in support of her friend.

Maybe Heather Thomson was busy at work and couldn’t go on the trip, but it sounds like Thomson is a big support for Carole. As Radziwill revealed on The Real Housewives of New York, the story of her late husband is not something she talks about often. In fact, many friends and family members don’t know her entire story.

According to a new Bravo report, Heather Thomson is now opening up about seeing her best friend’s trip to London. Carole received an email informing her that her husband’s urn was to be removed from the church where she left it. She had to go pick it up, and it was an emotional time for her.

“I’m so happy that Radz was able to candidly share such a personal experience, because she doesn’t often open up about it, and I know it’s cleansing, too. I’m also really happy that Carole was able to spend this one on one time with Dorinda. This is the caring and loving side of Dorinda that I built a friendship with, and it really shines through,” Heather Thomson reveals in her blog after watching Carole’s trip to London, adding, “Both women showed such strength during this trip, and in telling their stories that came with such a range of emotions. The layers of our lives can tell a very different story when they are peeled back and exposed, and I feel a lot of love and am very proud of both of them.”

Even though Carole and Dorinda bonded on the trip to London, Heather Thomson is clearly still struggling a bit to make sense of the drama. Dorinda has called out Heather for passing judgment, and Thomson has fought back. According to the Inquisitr, Heather Thomson called Dorinda a rollercoaster of emotion, especially after the dramatic dinner in the Turks and Caicos.

What do you think of Heather Thomson supporting Carole while watching the episode? Do you think it was an emotional experience for Carole to revisit her past life?
