Walter White Cooking Again?: ‘Breaking Bad’ Cafe Opens In Istanbul

Missing Breaking Bad? There might just be a cure to your Breaking Bad blues, but you have to travel to Turkey to get your fix. A Breaking Bad-themed café called Walter’s Coffee Roastery is just what a coffee lover and Breaking Bad fan needs.

With meth-lab inspired interiors and servers in hazmat suits, it’s easy to be transported back into the world of Breaking Bad, which aired its final season in 2013.

According to Oddity Central, Walter’s Coffee Roastery was opened in March by Deniz Kosan and his cousin, who goes by the name Heisenberg, Walter White’s moniker in the hit TV show. The owner’s describe the place as the “world’s first coffee super lab.”

Upon visiting the café, you will immediately feel the Breaking Bad vibe. There’s a giant periodic table on the wall, beakers are used to serve coffee, and brewing systems are just like the tanks of meth seen on the show. Despite the obvious Breaking Bad feel of the place, Entertainment Weekly reports that the café does not actually use logos and names from the show for copyright reasons.

Of course, the café is not be complete without an ode to Walter Jr. Aside from coffee, Walter’s Coffee Roastery also serves breakfast such as sausages, eggs, and pancakes. And if you have a sweet tooth, the crystal blue candy on top of cupcakes will do the trick. We’re not sure of the crystal’s clarity, though.

As of now, Walter’s Coffee Roastery can only be found in Istanbul. However, the owners have a plan to expand to other countries, including the USA.

Meanwhile, in other Breaking Bad news, you can purchase Jesse Pinkman’s home if you have $1.6 million to spare. If the party house is not your style, you can also purchase Gretchen and Elliot Schwartz’s home for $2.65 million. More on the details of that on this story by the Inquisitr.
