In Cara Delevingne’s Worst Interview Yet, Hosts Suggest She ‘Take A Little Nap’ [Video]

Cara Delevingne has been on the road for weeks now, doing all she can to promote her latest film, Paper Towns. And it seems Ms. Delevingne hasn’t always impressed the hosts interested in having Cara participate in an interview. In fact, the hosts of Good Day Sacramento seemed overly critical of Ms. Delevingne when she presented herself for an interview from New York City.

While Cara is certainly subdued, seemingly less enthusiastic than she may have come across in other interviews, one cannot be expected to respond to every situation with the same level of excitement. Nevertheless, it seems her hosts took offense to Delevingne’s demeanor, referring to Cara’s mood in every question asked. Understandably, the theme of the interview and the hosts only served to worsen Cara’s mood until Ms. Delevingne ultimately cut the interview short.

Even as the segment began, the hosts of Good Day Sacramento started off on the wrong foot with model-turned-actress Cara Delevingne by introducing her as “Carla” and moving on without acknowledging the error in pronunciation.

Yet Ms. Delevingne tried to bring a bit of levity to the discussion, when Cara was asked if she’d read the book on which Paper Towns was based.

“No, I never read the book, or the script actually. Yeah, I kind of winged it,” Ms. Delevingne joked. “No, of course I loved the book. Actually, I think the book’s amazing. John Green is an incredible author. So, really, if you haven’t read his books, you should. Don’t miss them.”

It seemed the interview was beginning to take off, until the second host interjected with a question that seems as nonsensical after the fact as it must have seemed to Cara at the time of the interview.

“Do you find that it’s easier for you to focus because you’re so busy, or, if you had down time, maybe it wouldn’t be so easy for you? What do you think?”

“No, I don’t know where that comes from. No. I think it’s not easier to focus. I think…I mean, I love what I do. It’s not crazy. It’s my passion…,” Cara replied.

It wasn’t the best interview, but Cara seemed to be taking everything in stride, until the third co-host jumped in and outright criticized Ms. Delevingne for her lack of enthusiasm throughout the current interview, comparing her mood to that of previous interviews.

It seems Cara Delevingne reached her limit, when the first co-host pointed out that she did seem irritated.

“Maybe it’s just us?”

“No, I think it’s just you,” Ms. Delevingne responded in kind.

“We’ll let you go then. Let you go take a little nap. Maybe drink a Red Bull. How about that,” the host retorted.

It wasn’t long afterward that Cara ended the interview, leaving the hosts to comment on the sudden appearance of the colored bars instead of Ms. Delevingne’s face.

Paper Towns is currently showing in theaters.
