Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill Throw Major Shade At Safaree Samuels Following ‘Lifeline’ Diss Track

Safaree Samuels may be making headlines for his new diss song aimed at ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj and her boyfriend Meek Mill, but it looks like Minaj and Meek are less than impressed with Samuels’ latest track.

Minaj’s ex took to Twitter on Tuesday to announce the premature release of his new song “Lifeline” a few days ahead of its intended Thursday release. In the song, Samuels fights back at Meek Mill after the rapper accused him of being gay on Twitter and blasts Nicki Minaj for her alleged use of a ghostwriter on her The Pinkprint album, Gossip Cop reports.

Just days after Meek Mill put Drake on blast for allegedly not writing his own raps, Samuels throws similar shade at Nicki Minaj when he claims that he helped her write some of the tracks of her new album. In addition, Samuels takes aim at Meek Mill for reportedly “stealing” Nicki Minaj away from their 12-year relationship, even going so far as to poke fun at the rapper’s weight.

“This n**** bent outta shape with a gorilla face / My bars on The Pinkprint no one will ever match / My d***-print lil n**** u could never match / I heard yoou told Philippe Chow you ain’t goin’ there…You outta shape anyway you need to eat a pear.”

While Meek and Minaj initially remained silent in regard to Samuels’ diss, it looks like the duo is finally speaking out about the new track.

Urban Islandz reports that Meek Mill took to Twitter on Tuesday to shade Safaree’s “Lifeline” track, telling followers, “Maximum exposure. U ain’t even Tryna b special!”

While Meek has yet to fire back at Samuels with a track of his own, Nicki Minaj appeared to have a stronger reaction to her ex’s ghostwriting claims.

During her The Pinkprint tour stop in Brooklyn over the weekend, Minaj appeared to shred Samuels’ ghostwriting claims by telling fans that nobody can write her raps.

“A b**** a** n**** can’t write my raps. You know why? You don’t have the heart or the mind frame or the motherf***** intellect b****n****. You don’t even know how to pronounce these motherf***** words in my motherf***** raps b****.”

While it’s unclear whether or not Minaj’s rant was intended for Samuels or Drake, who released his own diss track “Charged Up” earlier this week, it’s safe to say that Minaj has made her point when it comes to those claiming she used a ghostwriter for her The Pinkprint album.
