Kristen Stewart And Jesse Eisenberg Discuss Whether Or Not ‘Twilight’ Would Be Fun To Watch ‘Stoned’
Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg may play a stoner couple in their new film, American Ultra, but what do Stewart and Eisenberg really think about getting high? The duo sits down with MTV News’ Stoner Talk Show to promote their new film and weigh-in on a variety of marijuana-related topics.
Stewart and Eisenberg appeared on the new segment to promote their new film, American Ultra, which hits theaters August 21, to discuss a variety of stoner-related topics such as whether or not Twilight would be a good film to watch while high and whether or not Batman is a potential stoner, Gossip Cop reports.
Josh Horowitz interviews Stewart and Eisenberg for the segment, beginning the conversation by asking whether or not it’s still cool to celebrate “4/20,” an unofficial holiday to celebrate cannabis usage.
“That’s a rookie move,” Eisenberg admits of smoking on the holiday. However, Stewart disagrees by noting, “It’s sweet though. Let’s hold onto the old school sentiments.”
Next, Horowitz inquires about whether or not Stewart and Eisenberg believe that Batman smokes marijuana, to which Stewart replies by mimicking Christian Bale’s deep Dark Knight voice with, “Definitely.”
Eisenberg echoes Stewart’s opinion while joking, “Yeah exactly. It’s clearly torn up his voice.”
However, things get awkward when the host then asks if they believe Twilight would make for a good film for a “stoned experience,” to which Stewart seemed unsure how to answer.
“I don’t know,” Stewart began before Eisenberg chimed in, “That seems like an answer you’re gonna—” he says before Stewart interrupts him with, “regret,” before the duo burst into laughter.
“Yeah, that seems like a headline you’re not gonna want,” Eisenberg laughs in regards to Twilight being a stoner film.
Finally, Eisenberg and Stewart are asked, “If you had to eat each other, which body part would you start with?”
Stewart notes that Eisenberg is a “skinny guy,” but reveals that she would probably “go for the ribs.”
Eisenberg responds to Stewart’s compliment with, “She’s also very thin. Yeah, I don’t know, maybe the shoe.”
Stewart and Eisenberg’s stoner special comes just days after the duo showed off their impressive fighting powers in the trailer for American Ultra.
International Business Times reports that in the trailer, Stewart rocks orange-colored hair as she pulls off some dangerous stunts while support Eisenberg’s character as he embarks on a journey to defend himself against the CIA, who has deemed him a threat to the organization.
