Jessa Seewald Working To Support Duggar Family? Jessa Will Travel Until 38 Weeks Pregnancy For Appearances

The Duggar family has lost their lucrative 19 Kids and Counting series on TLC. Therefore, it seems that the family is looking for other ways to profit from their reality star fame.

With requests for appearances by the Duggar family dwindling in the wake of the Josh Duggar molestation scandal, it seems that at least one member of the family is stepping up to ensure money keeps pouring in for the family. Jessa Seewald, despite the fact that she will be heavily pregnant in October, has signed up for four speaking engagements with the Southern Women’s Show. At the time of the last appearance in Florida, Jessa will be 38-weeks pregnant.

According to the Duggar Family Blog, pregnant Jessa Seewald and husband Ben will be at four Southern Women’s Show expos to answer questions from the audience, sign autographs, and take photos with guests. The appearances are scheduled for August, September, and October of this year. However, the most surprising appearance is the October 17 gig in Jacksonville, Florida. Jessa Seewald’s due date is November 1, 2015 — therefore, Jessa will be nearly 38-weeks pregnant at the time of show.

According to the Mayo Clinic, many health care providers restrict a pregnant woman’s travel after 36 weeks of pregnancy. Therefore, it remains unclear how Jessa plans to get to Florida for the show if she is not supposed to be traveling during that time. Though many doctors recommend not traveling after 36 weeks of pregnancy, that does not mean that Jessa would be barred from flight.

Jessa isn’t the only Duggar trying to secure funds outside of the reality series. The Duggar family recently requested donations from their fan base in a Duggar Studios Youtube video. The video noted that “every contribution is helpful, big or small,” and that the funds would help the Duggar children with the ability to post more videos for their avid fans.

Meanwhile, another Duggar daughter, Jill Dillard, is soliciting donations from fans for the Dillard Family Ministries. Jill Dillard and husband Derick are currently in El Salvador with S.O.S. Ministries on a “long-term” mission trip. The Dillard family has yet to release a planned return date and have not shared any photos of the trip with their fans. However, the pair did report that locals are infatuated with blue-eyed baby Israel.

Could the Duggar daughter give birth mid-flight? Or will the mom-to-be opt for land travel? Do you think that Jessa Seewald is feeling the pressure to perform, even in late pregnancy, now that 19 Kids and Counting has been cancelled?
