‘Big Brother 17’ Drama: Week 5 Power Of Veto Ceremony Reveals A Change In Plans [Spoilers]

Week 5 of Big Brother 17 is moving right along, and the Power of Veto ceremony was held on Monday afternoon. What had been looking like a solid target for a backdoor eviction this week shifted over the weekend, and now, someone has been left a bit stunned. What are the latest Big Brother spoilers regarding the plans for Week 5?

As previous Big Brother spoilers had detailed, the current Head of Household had agreed to one plan when she thought she’d engineered a way to not be held responsible for it. Instead, the plan to throw the Battle of the Block competition fell apart, and this BB17 schemer was left in charge after all.

Clay won the Power of Veto competition, and now, BB17 spoilers from Big Brother Network indicate that the POV ceremony was held, and Clay naturally removed himself from the block. Though most of the house had earlier agreed on the person who would go up on the block at this point, the HOH has changed course and is now targeting someone else.

Big Brother spoilers detail that now Jason Roy was put up in Clay’s place. Jason will sit next to Becky and face the eviction vote during Thursday’s show. This definitely comes out of left field for several of the houseguests, and after the POV ceremony, there was a lot of action on the live feeds.

This new plan certainly stuns Jason, who, along with Becky, was a member of the newly-formed “Dark Moon” alliance that had put together a plan for the week. However, as Buddy TV details, that fell apart when the original “Sixth Sense” alliance backpedaled and changed course.

Those with the power have already made a deal with Becky for this week. Though Jason had been cooperating pretty well with those pulling the strings, he’s now seemingly doomed for eviction. Big Brother spoilers from the live feeds indicate that he’s already figured out how things are playing out and he seems to have accepted that he’ll be the next to go.

It seems the others now on the outside looking in are angry and confused, and they’ve got a steep hill to climb if they’re going to turn things around. Will Meg, James, and Jackie find a way to change their fate in the BB17 house, or will the “Sixth Sense” crew steamroll right over them? Will Jason, indeed, be the next to go, or can he scramble and shift the target to Becky somehow?

So far this season, there have been multiple backdoor nominations and evictions, and it looks like Jason Roy will be the next to go. Stay tuned for more Big Brother 17 spoilers as the houseguests react to the Power of Veto ceremony and prepare for more twists and turns to play out.
