Obama In Kenya — Watch Barack’s Attempt At Traditional Kenyan Dancing [Video]

All eyes have been on President Barack Obama’s visit to Kenya this week, partially because of the easy fodder the trip is for those who believe that the president was born there.

While much of the reason for his visit was to talk about issues like corruption and poverty that plague the country, there were some brighter moments of Obama’s trip to Kenya. One of which was when Obama took a moment to engage in some traditional dancing while attending a dinner arranged in conjunction with his stay in Nairobi.

Obama, who has made jokes about the speculation over his country of birth before, chose not to ignore the elephant in the room while he was speaking in the African nation. While toasting at the dinner in honor of his visit to Kenya, the president joked about continuing speculation about his country of origin, previously reported Inquisitr.

“I suspect that some of my critics back home think that I’m back here to look for my birth certificate. That is not the case”

Also notable, Obama spoke out against Kenya’s lack of progression of gay rights issues, reported Inquisitr.

“I believe in the principle of treating people equally under the law, and that they are deserving of equal protection under the law and that the state should not discriminate against people based on their sexual orientation. I’m unequivocal on this.”
