Jill Zarin Says She And Ramona Singer Are Back To Being Friends
Jill Zarin and Ramona Singer are back to being friends. On Sunday, Jill, who used to star on The Real Housewives of New York City alongside Ramona, tweeted that she and Ramona were always friends and that real friends make up.
“We were always friends.. Real friends make up!”
Jill’s tweet was in response to someone who expressed shock that Ramona went to Jill’s charity and social event, Luxury Ladies Luncheon, at her Hamptons home last weekend. The person added that Real Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen needs to get Jill back on the reality TV show.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, several former and current Real Housewives stars attended Jill’s event. Former Real Housewives of New York City star Aviva Drescher was there, as were current housewives LuAnn de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, and Ramona. Dorinda posted a photo of herself with Ramona at the event.
Throughout their seasons together on the show, Ramona and Jill had their ups and downs. In June 2011, the ugliness between the two even involved their husbands. E! News reported that at a Hamptons party, Mario Singer, Ramona’s now ex-husband, confronted Jill about making Ramona look bad on the show. A source said that Mario screamed at Jill and that Jill’s husband, Bobby Zarin, had to step in.
“Once Mario found Jill, he began screaming at her and was blaming her for the fact that Ramona looks like a drunk this season on the show. It was really sad and pathetic that Mario was screaming at Jill like this. It was abusive and everyone at the party was extremely offended…She [Jill] was just standing there speechless and looked scared and finally a guest had to get in between Jill and Mario and push him away from her. Bobby [Jill’s husband] had some words with Mario and told him to back off of his wife.”
As the Inquisitr reported, Jill Zarin and Ramona Singer’s latest spat happened in April, when Millionaire Matchmaker star Patti Stanger, who was also at Jill’s luxury luncheon last weekend, said on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live that she and Jill saw Mario pick up another woman at a Hamptons party. Ramona, who has since released a memoir that details Mario’s infidelity and their divorce, lashed back by saying that Patti doesn’t know what she’s talking about and that she just likes to be relevant like Jill. Jill hit back by saying that with Ramona’s jealousy, it’s no wonder Mario doesn’t want her anymore.
