Taylor Swift-Nicki Minaj Feud Affecting Friendship With Girl Posse

Taylor Swift’s feud with Nicki Minaj may be costing her her friendships with her girl posse. Rumors are swirling that it’s not easy to be friends with the “Bad Blood” singer. According to several reports, some of Taylor’s friends are annoyed with her recent antics.

Taylor Swift has been showing off her famous friends since the beginning of her 1989 era. Swift most recently showed them off in her infamous “Bad Blood” video, which is rumored to be about Katy Perry. Now reports are claiming that Swift has made a list of demands for her friends, including a dress code for when they’re photographed together. It could be why Swift and her friends always look like they match in her Instagram photos.

Taylor’s friends reportedly had enough of the singer’s controlling ways. Some of them were even caught talking about the pop star backstage during her 1989 World Tour.

The Hollywood Life recently reported that Taylor’s been involved in a large number of feuds over the years. Not only does she have a “long list of ex-lovers,” but she also has an even longer list of enemies. Some of Taylor’s noted feuds include Katy Perry, Kanye West, and Diplo.

The singer also recently found herself in the middle of “Bad Blood” with actress Camilla Bella. She took to Twitter to praise Katy Perry for calling out Taylor Swift when it comes to pitting women against women.

Taylor caught herself in the middle of a feud with Nicki Minaj when she herself called out the rapper for pitting women against women.

Then Katy Perry stepped in and accused Swift of being “ironic,” when she capitalized her success of pitting women against women in the “Bad Blood” song and video. Camilla Bella was the next woman in line to step in when she praised Perry for calling out Swift’s hypocritical tweet.

It seems like Taylor can’t win these days. Not only are her friends reportedly not supporting her, but she’s still caught in a bitter feud with Katy and Camilla. As for Nicki, she has said that she no longer has “Bad Blood” with Taylor. In fact, the two pop acts even talked things over on the phone. She even said that she would collaborate with the country-turned-pop singer in the future.

“I’m sure we can. You know why? Because it takes a big person to do what Taylor did. Everyone sometimes speaks out of turn. I’ve been there. Sometimes we do things and we don’t think right away. We don’t investigate and then we just talk. It was big of her to come out and say that. So yes, we spoke for a long time. We were cracking up laughing on the phone. It’s over, you guys.”

While Minaj’s apparent feud with Swift is over, the media still won’t let the singer forget about what she’s done.

As noted via The Independent, Taylor Swift missed the point of Nicki Minaj’s tweets about black women being sidelined by the music industry as white women continue to receive praise and accolade.
