Father Schools Teens With Threatening Message Inspired By ‘Taken’
Teens will do anything to get out of doing chores, and most of the time, they ignore their duties because they are busy online chatting with friends and constantly checking their social media feeds. This father, as reported by Mashable, had enough of his teenagers’ mess and decided to give them a stern warning if they continue to be messy around the house.
The father printed out a message with a screenshot of Liam Neeson in the movie Taken with a message, threatening to disconnect the teens from the online world if they continue to leave their mess in the kitchen. See the image below.
The lines, spoken by Liam Neeson in the movie Taken, were tweaked by the father to send his message across. The original lines were more threatening.
“I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don’t have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.”
The father, with the reddit username labuzan, decided to share a picture of his warning to his children, and it created a buzz. His reddit submission read, “My teenagers refuse to put their dishes in the dishwasher. So I put this above the sink.”
According to labuzan, he doesn’t have any other complaints against his teenagers, except that they are absolute slobs.
“Actually, my kids have their s**t together. My oldest graduated high school a semester early and then got a 30 hour a week job to save money for college. My youngest has a 3.95 GPA in all IB classes and picked up a summer job for 30 hours a week. When it comes to the ‘big rocks’ of life, they are squared away.
They’re just fu****g slobs.”
Good thing the teens got a fair warning before their father did anything drastic to punish them for being messy. That wasn’t the case for Abby Mills, who was punished by her father for stealing from family members, as reported by the Inquisitr.
According to the report, Abby was required to wear a sign that admitted to her being a thief. She was also told by her father to walk up and down the street wearing the sign. Abby’s father said that he had to do it to teach her daughter a lesson.
