Kim Kardashian Might Change Twitter Forever: Here’s How [Video]

Kim Kardashian has posted her fair share of regrettable messages on Twitter (she did almost get dragged into the VMA dust up between Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj over an ill-worded yet innocent tweet), and decided Friday to do something about it. Kardashian took to social media on Friday to ask Twitter’s CEO and founder if they could allow tweets to be edited after they’re posted, reports Time magazine.

“I just emailed Twitter to see if they can add an edit feature so that when u misspell something u don’t have to delete & repost Let’s see,” Kim tweeted to fans about her query.

It didn’t take Twitter’s founder Jack Dorsey more than a half hour to reply to Kardashian, saying, “@KimKardashian great idea! We’re always looking at ways to make things faster and easier.”

Although Twitter’s CEO didn’t say directly they would change Twitter just for Kim Kardashian, the inability to edit tweets has irked celebrities who might have a regrettable PR nightmare on their hands, according to Time.

Kim Kardashian might have been referring to the Twitter feud between Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj that blew up social media. Kim was inadvertently dragged into their argument when she posted a photo from her Vogue Spain shoot that seemed to reference the infamous incident at the 2009 VMAs when Kardashian’s husband, Kanye West, interrupted Taylor as she accepted the Video of the Year Award in 2009.

In the photo, which Kim Kardashian shared over Twitter, she is lying on a couch, and she captioned the now famous photo, “Imma let you finish but…”

The whole incident was coincidental, reports Hollywood Life, but Kim Kardashian had to do some PR damage, correcting herself over Twitter with several follow-up messages.

“Wait wait I’m in Paris it’s the middle of the night & I’m posting my Vogue Spain pics not having a clue what’s going on in the music world,” Kim Kardashian wrote. “I’m not trying to shade anyone! That’s not my style! I just thought that caption was perfect for that pic! Changing the caption now!”

Except Twitter posts can’t be edited.

“Kanye thinks Kim should speak her mind and challenge people more than she does,” an insider close to Kim Kardashian confessed to Hollywood Life, which might explain her email to Twitter. “He’s always telling her she shouldn’t be afraid to mix it up with people she doesn’t agree with. Obviously, Kanye speaks his mind, and he wants her to have the confidence to do it, as well.”
