LeAnn Edmonds Horton Dies Of Cancer: Jim Edmonds’ Ex-Wife Mourned By RHOC As Daughter Shares Heartbreaking Tribute

LeAnn Edmonds Horton lost her struggle to survive cancer. LeAnn, who once was married to baseball star Jim Edmonds, passed away. And it was her 17-year-old beloved daughter Hayley who shared her tragedy on social media, reported Us Weekly.

“Early this morning I lost the most important person in my life,” posted Hayley. “I’m so blessed to have had these past 17 years with you.”

Recalling her memories of growing up with LeAnn, the teenager revealed how much Edmonds Horton inspired her.

“You were an inspiration to everyone who knew you and I will aspire to be everything you were. You truly lived life to the fullest and were such a fighter. The memories we made will forever be instilled in me and I’ll never forget the good times we had. You were not only my mom, but my best friend. Thank you for everything you’ve thought me and for the wisdom you’ve given me. I will never ever stop loving you. Life won’t be easy without you but I know you will be with me every step of the way. Rest in peace mommy, I love you with all my heart.”

Throughout her heartbreaking awareness of LeAnn’s impending death, Hayley bravely shared updates about how Edmonds Horton was doing, as well as how she herself felt about her mother.

“Never miss the opportunity to tell your mom you love her,” the teenager urged on social media. “No matter how much you do, it will never be enough. Stay strong momma, I love you with all I have.”

LeAnn’s ex-husband Jim Edmonds currently stars on the new season of Real Housewives of Orange County together with Meghan King, who as his third wife has sought to have a strong relationship with Hayley. Recognizing that LeAnn, 45, was dying, Meghan, 30, sought to become a friend as well as a parent to the teenager.

When she learned that Edmonds Horton had died, Meghan shared on Twitter.

“Today is a sad day. Pls send positive vibes this way!” she posted.

Also sending their sympathy were RHOC star Vicki Gunvalson, still mourning the recent death of her mother, and Elizabeth Rovsek, reported People.

“Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day”. @JimEdmonds, @MeghanKEdmonds and family, you are in my thoughts and prayers,” wrote Vicki.

As the Inquisitr reported, Mayim Bialik of The Big Bang Theory recently mourned the loss of her own father. Like LeAnn’s daughter, Mayim revealed the heartbreak of losing a parent.

“For those of you who have lost a parent, you know how I feel. You tell me you do. For those of you who have lost someone else you were close to, you also tell me you know how I feel. But you don’t. Because you’re not me losing my Abba,” wrote the 39-year-old actress.
