Brooke Hogan, Daughter Of Hulk Hogan, Set To Become A Country Singer

Brooke Hogan is making headlines once again because of her famous father Hulk Hogan. The former WWE wrestler was caught making racist remarks in a video that went viral.

One of Hulk’s racist rants was about his daughter, Brooke Hogan, whom he accused of using his money to promote her music career and sleeping with a black man.

“She is making some real bad decisions now. I don’t know if Brooke was f***ing the black guy’s son… I mean, I don’t have double standards. I mean, I am a racist, to a point, f***ing n***ers. But then when it comes to nice people and sh*t, and whatever.”

Hulk went onto say that he would prefer if Brooke married “an 8-foot-tall n***er worth a hundred million dollars, like a basketball player.”

Now Brooke Hogan, 27, has become one of the top searched topics on Alexa. Brooke, whose real name is Brook Ellen Bollea, has yet to speak out on her father’s WWE firing and racist statements. Brooke’s claim to fame was starring in the reality show, Hogan Knows Best, from 2005 to 2007.

The VH1 reality helped Hogan shoot to fame and gain a platform for herself. She then took an interest in music and later went onto to promote her work in a one-hour spinoff, Brooke Knows Best, on the same network.

She released her first album, Undiscovered, in 2006, which did pretty well on the music charts. Brooke’s second album, Redemption, released in 2009, failed to match the success of her debut album. This caused Brooke to take a break from both reality TV and music. Instead, she wanted to try her hand at acting.

While Hogan starred in a variety of low-budget films, she found success with comedy/horror LA Slasher. She’s also working on new music. Hogan is set to release her first country music album.

After releasing two pop albums over the years, Brooke said that she’s moving to Nashville to work on her first country project.

“I’m doing a country album. It comes as a shock, but I actually did a country album way back in the day with a guy named Lou Pearlman in Orlando, Fla., who did the Backstreet Boys. I think now he’s in jail, but that album never came out because he was in jail. I was signed with him when all of that went down.”

Hogan decided to make the move into country music after she moved to Nashville. She wanted to take a break from the music scene to shift her focus and figure out what she really wanted to do.

“I got swept up in the pop game because that was the most popular thing, and then kind of transitioned to hip-hop and R&B with a guy named Scott Storch, and did TV for so long. I needed to stop, redirect everything, reinvent, take a break, be normal for a minute. So I moved to Nashville four years ago, and I’ve been writing with everybody here, earning my stripes. It has not been easy, but it has been fun. I’ve made amazing friends, and I want to stay here forever. I love this place.”

Brooke has already released her first single, “Girlfriend,” which is already available on iTunes. There’s no word on the release date of Brooke’s country project. But she’s also actively working on a few movies, her own documentary, and her first clothing line.
