Kandi Burruss Reveals Mama Joyce And Carmon Cambrice Have Made Up, Shares Baby News With ‘RHOA’ Co-Stars

Two women very important to Kandi Burruss have made up just in time to be there for her when she begins a new chapter in life. On Thursday, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star revealed that her mom, known as Mama Joyce, and her good friend and assistant, Carmon Cambrice, have made up.

Kandi posted a photo of Carmon and Mama Joyce hugging each other and smiling widely.

Kandi wrote that Carmon and Mama Joyce have come a long way. Kandi joked that Jesus fixed their relationship just in time for the arrival of her baby, whom she is calling Baby Tucker for now.

“Late post from weds. night. We have come a long way to have@mamajjoyce & @camcambi taking pics together. #JesusFixedIt Lol! Just in time before #BabyTucker gets here.”

Carmon Cambrice and Mama Joyce’s tumultuous relationship was laid bare on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Kandi Burruss’ spin-offs Kandi’s Wedding and Kandi’s Ski Trip. Mama Joyce accused Carmon of betraying Kandi by having an indecent relationship with her husband, Todd Tucker. Despite Carmon’s repeated denials, as well as that of Kandi and Todd, Mama Joyce held on to her belief of Carmon’s betrayal. Finally, by the end of Kandi’s Ski Trip, Mama Joyce made up with Carmon, and the two agreed to move on from their drama. Judging by Kandi’s recent photo, they seem to even be friends now.

Kandi also posted a group photo of some of her Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars posing with two groups signed to her label. Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, Porsha Williams, and Phaedra Parks watched a performance by the musical acts. Kandi said that she surprised her co-stars with her baby news that night.

On Wednesday, Kandi and Todd, who have been married for a year and who each has a daughter from a previous relationship, announced that they are expecting to E! News.

“We’re so thrilled to announce the news of our bundle of joy, it’s a dream come true.”

Kandi Burruss later told Us Weekly that she and Todd Tucker conceived with the help of in vitro fertilization.

“If you follow RHOA you know that Todd and I went over a lot of hurdles to conceive… We chose in vitro to help and found out it wasn’t 100 percent guaranteed, so when we found out that our procedure WAS successful you can’t imagine our joy! Our family could now be complete with the addition of our baby love.”
