WWE Rumors: Top Hall Of Famer To Replace Hulk Hogan On ‘Tough Enough’ — Booker T Remembers Racist Slip From WCW

The wrestling world is upside-down this morning after the debacle that has quickly become Hulk Hogan. With his firing from WWE, there is a lot of scrambling around to get things in order, and one of those is finding a replacement for the Hulkster on Tough Enough. Not only that, Hogan’s racist rant is also bringing back memories of days gone by, and that’s especially true for Booker T.

PW Insider is reporting that the early frontrunner to replace Hoagn on Tough Enough is none other than WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair.

A final decision has not yet been made on the replacement of Hulk Hogan on Tough Enough, but signs are internally pointing to Flair. The final choice is said to come down to Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn.

Vince McMahon has actually taken a large interest in Tough Enough and is said to be at Full Sail University in Orlando for each week’s episode. He’s not going to just throw anyone into Hogan’s role, but Flair wouldn’t be a bad choice at all.

As reported by Inquisitr, the Hulk Hogan racist rant has set the sporting world on edge and caused a lot of controversy. It certainly appears as if this puts an end to any and all rumors that Hulk Hogan will wrestle one more match at WrestleMania 32.

It’s also bringing up lots of memories for some people, and one of those is Booker T. The wrestling legend posted a series of tweets regarding Hogan’s racial statements from his past sex tape, and he’s the first to openly comment too.

Back at WCW Spring Stampede in 1997, Booker T was doing a backstage interview when he actually called Hulk Hogan, of all people, the n-word. It was an intense promo, and Booker T finally ended up letting it accidentally slip.

“Hulk Hogan, we comin’ for you n***a!”

Booker T has repeatedly said over the years that it was an accident, and he said it while caught up in the moment of the live promo. He also said it was a word that had been used quite often “in the streets” where he grew up.

There is a lot of difference though in what Booker T accidentally said one time on camera and the numerous times it was said intentionally by Hulk Hogan in regard to his daughter’s sex life.

Hulk Hogan is now gone from WWE and may honestly be stricken from the record books to boot. His racist rant caught on tape has led him to be dropped from Tough Enough, and it does look as if Ric Flair will be his replacement, but there is still likely more to come.
