Meghan King Edmonds ‘Can’t Sleep’ After LeAnn Horton Death

Meghan King Edmonds’ step-daughter, Haley, lost her mother earlier this week, and ever since, the Real Housewives of Orange County star has been struggling to sleep. After revealing the sad news to her followers on social media several days ago, Meghan King Edmonds returned to Twitter in the wee hours of the morning on July 24 and shared the following message with her Bravo fans.

As fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County will recall, Horton was the first wife of Meghan King Edmonds’ husband, Jim Edmonds, and the mother of his daughter, Haley. However, despite the awkward circumstance, Meghan King Edmonds was a close friend of Horton, and the two spent time together on the show.

After news of Horton’s tragic passing hit the web, Meghan King Edmonds’ step-daughter, Haley, shared a heartbreaking message with fans and followers on Instagram. As the Inquisitr previously reported, the teenage girl’s note, which was accompanied by a photo of Horton, can be seen below.

“Early this morning I lost the most important person in my life. I’m so blessed to have had these past 17 years with you. But that will never be enough for me. I can’t imagine my life without you and I never imagined this day would come. You were an inspiration to everyone who knew you and I will aspire to be everything you were. You truly lived life to the fullest and were such a fighter. The memories we made will forever be instilled in me and I’ll never forget the good times we had. You were not only my mom, but my best friend. Thank you for everything you’ve thought me and for the wisdom you’ve given me. I will never ever stop loving you. Life won’t be easy without you but I know you will be with me every step of the way. Rest in peace mommy, I love you with all my heart.”

Since Horton lost her battle with cancer, a number of Meghan King Edmonds’ co-stars on The Real Housewives of Orange County, including Vicki Gunvalson and Lizzie Rovsek, reached out to show their support.
