Jimmie Walker: Actor Expresses Surprise And Shock, Says Bill Cosby’s Womanizing Ways Were Common Knowledge

Actor Jimmie “JJ” Walker expressed surprise over the allegations that Bill Cosby drugged women to fulfill his sexual desires. He added that it was supposedly common knowledge that the veteran celebrity was a womanizer.

Jimmie Walker says he still feels close to Bill Cosby, but laments that the actor’s career is over, reported TMZ.

“I love Bill Cosby. The thing that upsets me the most is that we’re never going to see his work again because he’s gone forever and ever, and it’s unfortunate.”

Jimmie Walker, who worked with Bill Cosby in the movie Let’s Do It Again and even on a few live shows, said everyone in Hollywood knew about him. He says he has seen Cosby “hooking up all the time.”

What surprised Walker, besides the fact that Cosby had admitted earlier that he had drugged women for sex, was that everyone’s expressing shock about Cosby and his numerous sexual liaisons. The Good Times actor felt it was common knowledge that Cosby loved to have intimate relationships and had a penchant for women, reported MSN. Though Bill Cosby was nationally known as “America’s Dad,” he wasn’t the “family man” he so adoringly portrayed on screen.

“I actually thought that everybody knew about all these women. That’s what I thought. The thing that shocks me the most is the drugging because the times that I’ve worked with Cosby… [I witnessed] nothing with the drug thing. But the women, I knew about that.”

Ever since the first accusation against Bill Cosby surfaced late last year, more than two dozen women have stepped forward to testify that he had drugged and later raped them. But famous personalities have time and again stood behind Cosby, firmly stating that the accusations are baseless.

Unfortunately, all the voices in support of Bill Cosby suddenly died out when court papers, extracted from a case a decade earlier, indicated Cosby had admitted to drugging a woman with Quaaludes with an intention to have sex with her. These revelations have left nothing to doubt about the intentions and capabilities of the veteran actor.

Interestingly, Bill Cosby’s lawyers are fighting hard to keep him out of jail. Given the fact that Cosby still maintains he never gave anyone drugs without their consent and the drugs in question were legal when they were alleged administered, Cosby still might have a chance at eluding jail time.
