Tom Cruise: Is Star Leaving Scientology? Madly In Love Once More?

Tom Cruise has been a longtime member and fervent supporter of Scientology. His devotion to the system of belief has been strong and true since the 1980’s, and has been a topic of much controversy over the past few decades during which the star has been involved. Most recently Cruise has passed up a healthy and active relationship with his daughter Suri, whom he fathered with ex-wife Katie Holmes, all for the purpose of furthering his ties with the Church of Scientology.

Recently, however, there have been claims that Cruise has been reevaluating his intense involvement with the faith and leaning towards putting little Suri higher on his list of priorities. However, Suri and mother Katie are not members of Scientology any longer which means that in choosing Suri, Cruise must turn his back on the faith.

Charisma News shares the fact that in leaving Scientology Cruise would face certain consequence, stating “The church of Scientology does not take members leaving lightly. Although the creed of the [organization] boasts the right of man to choose his own religion, if a member of the [organization] leaves, they are ostracized and hounded by the church.”

Earlier this year, Leah Remini spoke openly about the difficulties she was hounded with after choosing to leave the same faith within which Cruise remains a member. Buzzfeed shared Remini’s words which shed light on the faith which the Top Gun star has got himself entangled in. The faith released statements that Remini is “self absorbed,” is now a “suppressive person,” meaning she is not to be contacted by any members and all remaining members are to shun her, and in addition claimed that Remini “was on the verge of being expelled due to her ethical lapses.”

It would certainly make for an incredible story of love and devotion to his daughter if Cruise did actually decide to leave, however, the reports have been verified as being untrue and it has been noted that Tom Cruise is taking his role within the faith to a different height as he looks to start up the Scientology television network that has been proclaimed by the faith itself as the soon-to-be “CNN of Scientology,” as Charisma News reports.

In addition to the news of Cruise’s possible exit from Scientology, rumors have been making the rounds suggesting that the actor is now madly in love with his assistant Emily Thomas. Although the two are nearby quite a lot and Cruise has apparently seemed flirtatious with his young assistant, the reports are being stamped out as untrue. Gossip Coprelays.
