Freddie Highmore Wows In New Photo Shoot, Instantly Labeled The New Neville Longbottom
Freddie Highmore is one of the most promising young actors in cinema. But as he made his big-screen debut at the tender age of 12, the world is yet to really recognize that he’s grown into a handsome young man.
But a new photoshoot that the 23-year-old Highmore has conducted for Attitude magazine has not only instantly changed that, but it has also turned plenty of heads, too.

All can admit that Freddie Highmore looks pretty dapper in the above image — but it doesn’t stop there, though, because inside the magazine, Highmore was also at his brooding best, too.
Highmore, who first came to prominence thanks to his starring roles in 2004’s Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory and Finding Neverland, and is currently receiving excellent reviews for his portrayal as Norman Bates in Bates Motel, admitted that he is well aware of his growing sex symbol status.
Speaking to Attitude, via E! Online, Highmore explained, “I think in a way, being judged as a sex symbol and being famous almost go hand in hand, but it is not something I have ever sought.”
Highmore continued, “It’s tricky because these days success relies on promoting the film or the show more and more, and promoting the actors via Twitter and social media, which I am not on. There is more and more pressure on actors to try to embrace a public social media presence. But I am still holding out.”
Freddie Highmore’s impressive transformation instantly led to him being compared to actor Matthew Lewis. Lewis originally shot to fame as Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter series.
In these films, Lewis was very much a nerdy character, but over the last few years, he has blossomed into a model/actor, and he has seen his female following grow exponentially.
