Kandi Burruss Pregnant With Todd Tucker’s Baby — Instagram Post Speaks Of No. 1 ‘Unsung’ Xscape Episode

Maybe there’s a reason why Kandi Burruss was crying during her Unsung TV show about her former band, Xscape. Kandi could’ve been feeling the emotional pregnancy hormones during the interviews about her 1990s heydays. Burruss recently announced that Kandi and her husband, Todd Tucker, are expecting a baby. As reported by E! News, Burruss shared her pregnancy news, but not the sex of the baby yet, with her fans. Nor did Kandi announce her due date or how far along Burruss is in her much-anticipated pregnancy; however, she did share how much joy the new baby news has brought her family.

There’s no news on how Mama Joyce, Kandi’s volatile mother and very vocal critic of her daughter’s choice of Todd as a husband in the past, as reported by the Inquisitr, has reacted to the pregnancy news.

“We’re so thrilled to announce the news of our bundle of joy, it’s a dream come true. Our daughters, Kaela and Riley, couldn’t be happier about becoming big sisters.”

Already parents of two daughters who are often featured on their reality TV shows such as The Real Housewives of Atlanta and its Ski Trip spin-off, Kandi and Todd have been open about their struggle to get pregnant. Instead of it strictly being an issue of having lots of sex and not getting pregnant right away, Burruss and Tucker shared with viewers the fact that Todd spending lots of time working in Los Angeles on Hollywood Divas served as a barrier between the couple. Apparently, those issues have been overcome now that Kandi has gotten pregnant.

According to Burruss’ Instagram account, the TV One show titled Unsung that featured Kandi’s dramatic relationship with her former group mates was the highest viewed episode in eight years — the entire time Unsung has appeared on TV. Burruss admitted that she wasn’t completely pleased with how their episode was portrayed.

I have to admit I wasn’t all too happy with the #Xscape #UNsung but all of our fans made it the #1 most viewed episode ever in 8 seasons of the show. Wow! Thanks for showing us so much love! It’s amazing to me that after all these years you guys still support us. Thank you!!!

Tameka “Tiny” Harris, also wasn’t totally pleased.
