‘Proud British Muslim’ Tells U.K. Terrorist Apologists To Get Out [Video]

Haseeb Ahmed, a self-described proud British Muslim, has a message for terrorist sympathizers and supporters in his country: pack your bags and get out.

In a YouTube video that has since gone viral (see embedded footage below), Ahmed condemned the recent ISIS-linked terrorist attack in Tunisia in which 30 vacationing British citizens were murdered.

His video commentary insists that terrorists don’t represent the majority of Muslims who are peaceful and that an entire religion shouldn’t be scapegoated for the actions of a few. “Killing anybody is against Islam,” he said.

Ahmed, 26, started the #LetsUnite campaign on Twitter to create awareness and solidarity against terrorism.

Along similar lines, in the aftermath of the Charlie Hedbo terrorist shootings in early 2015, Rotterdam, Holland, Mayor Ahmed Aboutaleb reaffirmed his view that his fellow Muslims should leave the Netherlands if they are unwilling to accept the country’s tradition of tolerance.

In a subsequent interview with the Express of London, Ahmed among other things expressed support for banning the wearing of the burqa in the U.K. and that only English-speakers should be allowed to immigrate to Britain. “It frustrates me, people not speaking English. If I went to Germany, I’d learn German so I could contribute to everyday life, and it’s a shame that’s not happening here,” he noted.

Haseeb also suggested that political correctness is inhibiting debate about homegrown terrorism and welcomed Prime Minister David Cameron’s new initiative to address extremism within the U.K.

A cousin of a well-known British boxer, Haseeb Ahmed called his video in which he expressed his views “a message to ISIS from a British Muslim.”

“…For those people who do support these attacks and do support these terrorists who are killing innocent people — you guys should all go pack your bags, go to Syria, and never be allowed to set foot in this country again. This is a good country; it gives a lot of people opportunity. If you’re not here to benefit the country, then pack your bags, and get out.”

In the Express interview, Ahmed also maintained that “Britain wants British Muslims to come out and condemn terrorism and on the whole I don’t think they are condemning these things enough. We need to conclusively denounce terrorism.”

With regard to indoctrination that occurs in some mosques, Haseeb asserted that “Anybody caught inciting hatred of any kind in any mosque needs to be seriously looked at and punished hugely. If they are British born put them in prison, and if they aren’t they should be deported.”

“I’m proud to be both British and Muslim as well and it’s time to stop trying to pick one or the other; you shouldn’t be ashamed to be both. People should proudly say that they are a British Muslim,” Haseeb Ahmed declared.
