Mario Singer’s Affair Led ‘RHONY’ Ramona Singer Into A Secret ‘Hell’

Mario Singer’s affair was a hot topic for Ramona in her new book, Life On The Ramona Coaster. According to a July 22 report by Radar Online, Ramona opened up about Mario Singer’s infidelity, as well as the hardships she faced in the months after.

In the book, Ramona looked back on the moment she realized Mario Singer’s affair would be released to press.

“It was like a knife had sliced open my chest, and my guts were ripped from my body.”

Although Mario Singer’s affair led Ramona to file for divorce in January 2014, the Real Housewives of New York City star later decided to work on her marriage. Still, the person Mario Singer had become simply wasn’t the man she married.

“I just could not comprehend that this was who he had become. Even now, there’s a part of me that thinks of Mario as dead.”

During their marriage, Ramona and Mario Singer welcomed one child together, the now-20-year-old Avery Singer, whom Ramona also discussed in her book. After news of Mario Singer’s affair hit the web, Avery confronted her father, informing him of plans to remove him from her life.

“Don’t come near me. You cheated on Mommy. F*ck you. I hate you.”

After working on their marriage for months, Ramona Singer, who was fresh off a trip to Naples, Florida, surprised Mario Singer at their Hamptons home. However, after she arrived, it was Ramona who got a major surprise — Mario Singer was in the home with his mistress, Kasey Dexter.

“He put his hands on my shoulders and physically pushed me out of the house. Things escalated quickly and I called the police.”

Although Ramona didn’t actually see the woman in the home, she heard her voice, and recalled her wining about having to leave the property after having just drove four hours.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Mario Singer’s affair led Ramona not only to prescription drugs, but also to suicidal thoughts. Earlier this week, Radar Online revealed excerpts from the reality star’s book, in which she admitted to “overmedicating” herself with anxiety pills.

Mario Singer’s affair has also been a topic of discussion on The Real Housewives of New York City‘s seventh season, which is currently airing on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
