Ciara: ‘Until The Deal Is Sealed’ She And Russell Wilson Will Practice Abstinence

Ciara says “until the deal is sealed,” she and Russell Wilson will practice abstinence.

Wilson recently opened up about his relationship with the singer, noting that they were practicing celibacy, meaning no sex until marriage. However, this is the first time that Ciara has spoken about the intimate details regarding her relationship with the Seattle Seahawks quarterback.

During a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Ciara made it very clear that they would not be having a physical relationship until there is a ring on her finger.

“It’s until the deal is sealed. Absolutely,” the “I Bet” singer replied when asked if she and Wilson planned on holding out for sex until they are married.

Although the physical parts of a relationship can be important, Ciara said it is nice to get to build a relationship on a foundation other than simply sex.

“It was an organic thing for him and I think he was just being honest about where we are,” she explained. “It’s cool when you get to build a foundation with someone on how much you care for each other and really know each other’s personalities, so it’s really fun.”

While the couple is remaining abstinent, they both admit that it can be challenging at times.

“I have to say, I think both of us look at each other and we’re like—whew,” she said. “But we take it one day at a time and keep it growing with each other, and I’m really enjoying every day that we’re sharing.”

“I ain’t gonna lie to ya’ll now. I need ya’ll to pray for us. You’ve seen her on the screen. If there’s a 10, she’s a 15,” Russell Wilson said, according to a previous report by the Inquisitr. “I need ya’ll to pray for me.”

Wilson first revealed their plans for abstaining from sex during an interview with Pastor Miles McPherson of The Rock Church, near San Diego, earlier this month.

“She was on tour and I was looking at her in the mirror, and she was sitting there. And God spoke to me and said ‘I need you to lead her.’ And I was like, ‘Really? Right now?’ And he goes, ‘No, I want you and need you to lead her.’ And I asked her, ‘What would you do if we took all that extra stuff off the table? And just did it Jesus’ way?’ “

“If you can love someone without that, then you can really love someone,” Wilson said. “He has anointed us, He’s called us and asked us to do something special.”

According to another report by the Inquisitr, Ciara’s ex-fiancé, rapper Future, has been talking a lot about his relationship to the superstar lately, even though it has been a year since they called it quits. While the gossip was that the couple ended their relationship over cheating allegations, Future says they simply “grew apart.”

He claims he called off their engagement long before any rumors about him cheating started circulating, also noting that he was “embarrassed” for her when he found out that she had already found her wedding dress and had taken bridal photos with their son.

“Everybody already had their speculation on what happened. A lot of people said, ‘Man, he cheated.’ But our relationship had nothing to do with cheating,” he explained. “We grew apart. As a man, you want to make decisions for your family, and sometimes the lady doesn’t see what you see. I called [the engagement] off long before any cheating rumors came out. I was like, ‘This isn’t going to work out.’ ”

Despite Future’s claims, Ciara had said she broke up with him three months after their son was born, after she learned that he was having an affair with his wardrobe consultant, Tyrina Lee.

Whichever story is true, it doesn’t seem to matter now, as Ciara seems to have found the man of her dreams.
