Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly And Megyn Kelly Continue To Fume About Immigration Enforcement

Bill O’Reilly isn’t about to leave the immigration issue to rest, especially after the death of Kate Steinle, who many believe was murdered because San Francisco’s sanctuary policy allowed undocumented immigrants who committed crimes to return to the city. Bill O’Reilly began his show by summarizing what he believes is the main problem.

“At least 110 American cities and counties are refusing to obey the government when it comes to obeying immigration law. That of course leads to chaos and chaos leads to violence.”

O’Reilly then went on to to describe his support for the proposed law called “Kate’s Law” which Bill O’Reilly describes on his site.

“We, the undersigned, respectfully ask Congress to pass Kate’s Law whereby undocumented immigrants who are deported and return to the United States would receive a mandatory five year sentence in a federal penitentiary upon conviction.”

O’Reilly then showed a video of families affected by murders from undocumented immigrants who returned after previously committing crimes. Kate Steinle’s father spoke up and described when his daughter asked him for help before she died.

Megyn Kelly talked about the topic as well and had one of the mothers who spoke at a hearing appear on her show. Kelly began the segment lamenting about the fact that it appears that Kate Steinle’s death is just one entry on a list that has grown far too long. Then, Kelly had Laura Wilkerson, a mother whose 18-year-old son Josh was killed by an undocumented immigrant, speak as a special guest.

“My thoughts are that it [sanctuary cities] invites a criminal element from illegals that are in this country. I’m not saying all illegals are criminals.”

Mrs. Wilkserson noted that the lax policy allows criminals to get a free pass to commit crimes. When Megyn Kelly asked her how she feels about people who say we shouldn’t paint the entire illegal immigration population with a brush, Wilkerson said that we have enough criminals of our own in the United States and we don’t need any from other countries.

Megyn Kelly also asked Wilkerson how she feels about Donald Trump, whom many dislike. Wilkerson says she doesn’t know Trump personally, but he speaks the truth. She believes that with Trump, it felt like she was finally being heard.

There is no doubt Megyn Kelly and Bill O’Reilly will continue drilling the issue. Not only are they passionate about it, but it also helps their ratings. Last week, Bill O’Reilly averaged 2.86 million viewers a night, while Megyn Kelly averaged 2.5 million viewers. What do you think of Bill O’Reilly and Megyn Kelly’s constant push on this issue?
