Michelle Duggar Gets Some New Bling: Duggars Celebrate 31st Wedding Anniversary With Love Notes, Gifts [Video]
Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary today. In honor of the milestone, the couple shared their love notes to one another on their blog. In addition to his kind words for his partner, Jim Bob also surprised Michelle with some new bling. The Duggar patriarch videoed Michelle’s reactions as she opened a piece of jewelry custom-designed by Jim Bob himself for the big day.
In the video uploaded on the Duggar family’s official Youtube channel, Jim Bob gives Michelle a special gift. In honor of the Duggar’s 31st wedding anniversary, Jim Bob decided to present Michelle with not-your-typical piece of jewelry. The custom-designed ring contained the birthstones of all 19 of the Duggar children. A voice on the video notes that Jim Bob designed the ring himself and Michelle can be seen gushing over her new bling.

That is a lot of gemstones, but that wasn’t all the doting Duggars did for one another on their wedding anniversary. In fact, both Michelle and Jim Bob posted love letters of sorts to each other on the family’s blog. In her note to Jim Bob, Michelle notes that she feels his best quality is his humility and fear of God.
“Recently, when one of our daughters asked, ‘Mom, what one quality should I look for in a future spouse?’, as I considered the answer, I realized what it is that I admire so much in you, Jim Bob. It is that you LOVE & HONOR God and in humility you are open & transparent with me, simply put, HUMILITY and the FEAR OF THE LORD. I’m so grateful that you share your heart with me. Your hopes, your dreams your successes, your weaknesses and even your failures.”
Likewise, Jim Bob says Michelle is the “greatest blessing” of his life noting that Michelle is truly a Proverbs 31 wife.
“She is my best friend, we share everything. Michelle is selfless, always thinking of others first. She is an example to millions of women, her children rise up and call her blessed. Michelle is my business partner, ministry team companion and the mother of our 19 children.”
Josh and Anna Duggar’s new bundle of joy, Meredith Grace Duggar, also made a brief appearance in the video along with postpartum Anna.
