Cara Delevingne Breakup: Model And Singer St. Vincent Call It Quits (Or Did They?)

Cara Delevingne and St. Vincent have either just gone through a painful breakup or are still deliriously happy together, depending on which report you want to believe.

As recently as two weeks ago, Cara and St. Vincent (real name: Annie Clark) appeared to still be a thing, if Annie’s Instagram post from the time is to be believed.

But a Monday report in the New York Post‘s magazine, Page Six, claimed the two had broken up, citing an unnamed source. The report gave no further details, and reps for both Cara and Annie declined to comment.

On Tuesday, however, Hollywood Life reported that rumors of the Cara Delevingne — St. Vincent breakup were premature and greatly exaggerated.

“They’re still together and very happy. Everyone seems to want them to split up – but the fact is Annie is in Europe on tour and Cara is working in the States. They couldn’t be happier and the latest reports are yet again just ridiculous.”

And Annie’s most recent Instagram post seems to back up the notion that they’re still a couple — Cara seems to have given her gal pal a very heartfelt — and very expensive — gift.

“An Airline Twin Tone guitar signed by David Bowie. Thank you, @caradelevingne. Best gift ever in the entire world. (Heart emoji…)”

In the July issue of Vogue, Cara — who is openly bisexual — talked about her sexuality, her soft spot for women, and her relationship with Annie.

“I think that being in love with my girlfriend is a big part of why I’m feeling so happy with who I am these days. And for those words to come out of my mouth is actually a miracle. Women are what completely inspire me, and they have also been my downfall. I have only been hurt by women, my mother first of all. It took me a long time to accept the idea [of being attracted to women], until I first fell in love with a girl at 20 and recognized that I had to accept it.”

And even though she appears to be happily in love with Annie, Cara hasn’t ruled out relationships with men.

“The thing is, if I ever found a guy I could fall in love with, I’d want to marry him and have his children.”

As of this post, neither Cara Delevingne nor St. Vincent have spoken publicly about rumors of their breakup.
