Vicki Gunvalson Leaves Orange County: ‘RHOC’ Veteran Slams Meghan’s Parenting

Vicki Gunvalson knows what she wants and what she doesn’t want. So when she feels uncomfortable or needs a change, she is the first to renovate her home or plan a trip away. And this week, Gunvalson needed some time away from her home in Orange County. Vicki packed her bags and headed to Oklahoma to spend some time with her grandchildren. But even though Vicki was away, she still took the time to share her thoughts about Meghan King Edmonds.

According to a new Bravo report, Vicki Gunvalson is now revealing that she decided to take some time away from her hometown, so she could recover from some of the sadness. Her mother passed away earlier this year, but one can imagine that it is painful to relive the death all over again on The Real Housewives of Orange County.

“I am writing this week’s blog from Briana’s home in Oklahoma. I came out here for the weekend so Briana and Ryan could get away for a few nights alone. It was so wonderful being with Troy and Owen as it really calms my mind and brings me so much joy to be with them,” Vicki Gunvalson reveals, adding, “Troy will be three in September and Owen just turned one. They are beautiful boys and so sweet. You will see them on the show later in the season when I come out and visit them, and they also came back to California for a few days so stay tuned.”

But just because Gunvalson was out of town didn’t mean that she would skip out on her blog. And one of the things she noticed was Meghan’s parenting of her step-daughter. When Vicki saw that Hayley could choose whether she wanted to go to school, Gunvalson decided to speak out.

“Watching Meghan and Hayley seemed a little confusing to me. So Meghan, Jim, and LeAnne haven’t set the ‘school rules’ down. The fact they allow their 17 year old not to be in traditional school and the fact that she doesn’t show up to independent study class sounds like a recipe for disaster. That would never fly with me,” Vicki Gunvalson reveals, adding, “Education and school should never be an option for a 17 year old. Good luck with that. Isn’t that a parent’s responsibility to be sure their children are able to make it on their own by making sure they are educated?”

According to the Inquisitr, Vicki Gunvalson would love for Briana to move back home since Vicki lost her mother rather suddenly. Clearly, Gunvalson still misses her mother, and she tried to reconnect with her mother through a medium.
