Lil Wayne Jet: Rapper Kicked Off Jet After Lighting Up Joint Post-Take Off

Lil Wayne was kicked off a jet after he lit up a joint on board. According to TMZ, the rapper decided he’d get high while in the sky, but the staff didn’t approve, and landed the jet immediately. Before takeoff, Lil Wayne talked to the pilot, and told him that he and his crew wanted to smoke during the flight. The pilot told Wayne that smoking would not be tolerated, but the rapper didn’t care to listen.

Within minutes, the pilot was forced to turn the plane around, and head back to a Fort Lauderdale airport. The flight lasted less than 20 minutes.

Lil Wayne brought his own drinks on the jet, according to the report. Photos of the rapper show him holding a cup containing a “pink/purple liquid” that TMZ says is consistent with sizzurp. Of course, this isn’t the first time that Wayne has been accused of drinking sizzurp — a drink that is made from codeine-based prescription cough syrup and soda, and often contains crushed up Jolly Ranchers candy. Many refer to the sizzurp state as a “cough syrup high,” and doctors say that the drink can be very dangerous.

In other Lil Wayne news, a new indictment has linked some (former?) Lil Wayne pals to a recent shooting, and prosecutors say that there are people trying to kill the rapper. According to My Fox NY, there are new accusations that suggest Bryan “Birdman” Williams and his new protégé, Jeffrey “Young Thug” Williams, were behind the Lil Wayne tour bus shooting back in April in Atlanta, Georgia.

“Recent shooting incidents connected with hip hop artists are raising concerns that the multi-billion-dollar music industry is being slammed by a riptide of street violence: the unsolved murder of Chinx in New York, the murder of a Chief Keef associate in Chicago, a shooting outside Rick Ross’s Atlanta headquarters, and now an alleged assassination plot on Lil Wayne.”

This makes the Lil Wayne jet story seem insignificant, as people apparently want him dead. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Birdman recently filed a lawsuit against Wayne’s Cash Money label, requesting some $50 million for “loss of revenue.” Could this be the motive behind the recent tour bus shooting? Certainly.

Reports indicate that the summer months could prove to be a turning point in all of this drama as many rappers are out on tour. Do you think Lil Wayne is in danger?
