Watch Guyana Amazon Warriors Vs. Trinidad & Tobago Red Steel Live Online: CPL Group Stage Finale

The season finale of the 2015 Caribbean Premier League, with Guyana Amazon Warriors hosting Trinidad & Tobago Red Steel, will determine playoff position for the top three CPL teams, and the high-stakes game will be available to watch live online Tuesday.

For Trinidad & Tobago, the scenario is a simple one. If they win, they finish on top of the CPL table and win an automatic bye straight into the playoff Final match on Sunday.

For Guyana, a victory gives them a second-place finish, tied on points with the Red Steel, but winning out on the Net Run Rate tiebreaker. That means the Amazon Warriors would then play the CPL semifinal on Saturday.

To watch the 30th and final match of the 2015 Caribbean Premier League regular season, Guyana Amazon Warriors vs. Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel, see the streaming link in the final paragraph of this article. The big game is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. Guyana Time at Providence Stadium in Georgetown, Guyana — which is also 6 p.m. United States Eastern Daylight Time, 3 p.m. Pacific.

Here are the playoff scenarios that depend on the outcome of Tuesday’s big match.

If Trinidad & Tobago Red Steel wins, then Guyana finishes in third place and must play in the first playoff elimination match on Thursday, July 23. Their opponent in that game would be the Jamaica Tallawahs.

The winner of that game would then face the Barbados Tridents, who would finish second despite having led the Caribbean Premier League for almost every day of the season. Whichever team wins that semifinal would face Trinidad & Tobago in the July 26 Final for the 2015 CPL Championship.

If Guyana wins on Tuesday, then Barbados wins the group stage and with it, the coveted free pass to the Championship Final. Guyana would finish second, playing either Trinidad & Tobago or Jamaica — whoever wins the Thursday eliminator — for the right to play for the title.

The last time Guyana and Trinidad & Tobago met, on July 4 at Warner Park in Basseterre, St. Kitts, the game went down to the next-to-last ball — with the Red Steel just barely chasing down a modest target of 119 for a three-wicket win.

This time, however, Guyana hold the home-field advantage.
