Evelyn Lozada Talks Miscarriage On ‘Livin’ Lozada,’ Opens Up About Heartbreaking Experience

Basketball Wives and Livin’ Lozada star Evelyn Lozada revealed a miscarriage on the most recent episode of her show, and fans are feeling devastated for her. Viewers watched the situation play out on the show as the news of the miscarriage came just a week after Lozada shared the news that another baby was on the way.

As Hollywood Life shares, Evelyn Lozada revealed her miscarriage over the weekend via her show, a loss that she had been worrying might happen. Lozada had been about six weeks pregnant with her second child with fiancé Carl Crawford. The couple already has one son, Carl Leo, together. The reality TV star and Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder welcomed their baby boy in March, 2014. Lozada also has her daughter, Shaniece, from a previous relationship.

The pregnancy was revealed in the first episode of Livin’ Lozada, and Evelyn’s miscarriage was front-and-center during the second episode. She explained that a drop in hormone levels set the stage for the family’s loss. Her daughter, Shaniece, was right by her side throughout the painful episode, and Lozada tweeted that the experience was the hardest thing ever.

Lozada went on to share on the show that “when something tragic like this happens, I’ve always learned that there is something better to come and I guess that’s what I hold onto” and she added that she believes this baby “just wasn’t meant to be.”

It’s clear that Evelyn loves her fans and has been grateful for all of the support she’s received via social media. Lozada has retweeted a number of supportive posts and has posted a number of tweets supporting fans who have been through similar circumstances.

Lozada has had her fair share of ups and downs over the years, as she’s had very rocky relationships with former professional athletes Chad Johnson, formerly Chad Ochocinco, and Antoine Walker as well. Despite getting a lot of criticism publicly throughout these rocky relationships, including some heat related to her current relationship with Crawford, Evelyn keeps pushing forward and doing her thing.

As People shares, Lozada has gone through periods of blaming herself for the miscarriage, though ultimately she knows it wasn’t her fault. Will she try again to add to her family? She indicates that she’s not actively trying to get pregnant again, but it seems she’s remaining open to the possibility at the same time.

Many fans share that they really miss seeing Lozada on Basketball Wives, but she seems thrilled to have moved on to have her OWN show, Livin’ Lozada, now. After a wild start with the pregnancy and miscarriage, fans are hooked on the new show and can’t wait to see what comes next from Evelyn Lozada.
