Drunk Man Crashes Car, Flees Scene, Somehow Ends Up Naked On A Barn Roof

An unusual story has come out of Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, this week after a drunk driving suspect was found by police completely naked on a barn roof.

According to the Associated Press, 20-year-old Daquan Tate wound up on the barn roof after driving drunk, losing control of his car, and hitting a speed limit sign and a road-side mailbox. He then regained control of the vehicle and tried to continue driving, but ended up crashing a second time into an embankment.

The suspect then parked the damaged car on the side of the road and fled the scene of the accident on foot.

Court documents then say that Tate was later found by police naked on a barn roof. Authorities are unsure how and why he wound up on the barn roof, but it’s possible he was trying to hide from the police. But nobody is certain why he wound up naked before climbing the barn.

According to CDA News, it’s still unclear if Daquan was driving naked in addition to driving drunk, or if he removed all of his clothes after he fled the scene of the crime — or after he made it onto the barn roof, for that matter.

Shortly after police located the drunken, naked man, Tate fell off the barn roof and was immediately arrested. He wasn’t hurt during the fall, but he now faces drunk driving charges — and possibly charges for indecent exposure.

According to a local news site, the incident occurred on Saturday morning and took place on Cedarcrest Road in Blair Township. The barn roof on which Tate ended up was not far from the scene of the crash, which made it easy for police officers to locate him.
