WWE News: Big Update On Hulk Hogan And Ronda Rousey For WrestleMania 32

WWE is getting the major publicity they deserve after they’re excellent show last night in WWE Battleground. Just to recap the event, each match had a purpose and displayed great wrestling ability. The NXT Divas Invasion transitioned to Battleground and a triple threat took place between Brie Bella, Charlotte and Sasha Banks.

Needless to say, Charlotte won in a thrilling match. Randy Orton defeated Sheamus and Bray Wyatt finally won a pay-per-view match, which was against Roman Reigns. Kevin Owens lost to John Cena in another “Match of the Year” candidate. Then, the main event occurred. Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins didn’t come to a finish.

As soon as Lesnar hit Rollins with the F5, the Undertaker returned in a way only he can do so successfully. Taker hit Lesnar with a chokeslam and then followed it up with two tombstone piledrivers. Judging by his motive and return, it appears that he and Brock Lesnar will wrestle at WWE SummerSlam. Then again, WWE hasn’t confirmed a match yet.

After SummerSlam, the Royal Rumble is the only major event between the Biggest Party of the Summer and WrestleMania 32. So, WWE has some time before they need to firm up plans for WrestleMania. Two big options will be the potential use of Hulk Hogan and Ronda Rousey. According to Dave Meltzer and Daily Wrestling News, a return from Hogan is possible, but a match for Rousey is something the WWE may not get.

“The rumors of Hulk Hogan returning to the ring at WrestleMania 32 continue to grow and it’s said now that Hogan vs. John Cena is very much a possibility for one of the WrestleMania 32 co-main events.

Vince McMahon is said to be frustrated with the WrestleMania card because UFC is being coy about whether or not they are going to let Ronda Rousey wrestle or even participate in a non-wrestling role.”

Here’s the basis of the entire situation: if Dana White doesn’t want Rousey to appear at WWE’s WrestelMania 32, then she won’t. Unless Rousey really fights White on it, McMahon won’t get her for the show. That said, the report goes on to say that McMahon doesn’t feel that a match with the Rock and Triple H has the same appeal that a match with Rousey would.

From a publicity standpoint, McMahon is right on the money. Ronda Rousey is arguably the most-popular athlete in the world. Along with Serena Williams, she’s the top-female in sports today.

In an earlier report by the Inquisitr, Stephanie McMahon ran into Rousey at the ESPY awards and in her picture, the hashtag “#WrestleMania” was used to tease the UFC women’s champion for next year’s event. Plain and simple, if the WWE gets Rousey and Hulk Hogan for WrestleMania 32, then it may get the biggest recognition for the show in quite some time.
